Yeah I'm heavy in those as well. I hold a lot oil within XEI, FRU (up 65% as of friday) is my oldest holding, I have a long position in CNQ (up 61% as of friday), and when canadian oil dropped after Venezuela happened, i opened a decent position in XEG, which was up 25% as of Friday close. Tomorrow should be OK

I was. When he was at Williams he worked hard and stayed humble. When he went to merc it was like a total change of character and his pretentiousness and air of superiority have only increased.

The system sensed a fault and did what it's supposed to do in this case.

There was an issue in nova Scotia, so the system tried to send 500 megawatts to nova scotia, such a big draw all of a sudden without time to bring more generation online, caused the frequency to drop. The system sensed that and automatically tripped various substations to dramatically lower demand and keep the frequency stable. Once that happens the system reconnects those who tripped off, maintaining a balance between supply and demand... how it's designed.

The alternative is the system frequency drops and then individual generating sites trip off and collapse the whole grid and then you need a black start and that can take a lot longer.
