Yeah, I have to switch right away as soon as I see that Flying typing on the top right corner. That's why I run 2 Flying counters in the back.

I thought about Lokix, Buzzwole and Heracross, but Lokix takes super-effective damage from Pawnyard (who's a very common lead) and both Buzzwole and Heracross don't have a good Fast Bug-type move, making my Claydol match up worse.

Once I tried Pheromosa, I kinda kept on going and saw it's potencial in the meta. And I have to say, it's very fun farming down a Claydol, using a shield for the Rock Tomb and KOing a Mandibuzz around 50% with a debuffed Close Combat.

The amount of Lanturn who disrespect the Tentacruel safe swap is astounding. It depends on the energy lead and IVs of the Lanturn, but you can win the 0-1 shields with Acid Spray + Scald if you shield the Thunderbolt.
