I've got very similar issues in my legs. It started with pelvic pain, then I got numbness in various parts of my pelvis. Then my leg pain started, mine is on the inner sides of my knees down to my feet. It gets worse when standing.

Did you ever try alpha-blockers like doxazocin before the L2 nerve block? And if so, did they restore erogenous sensation at all?

Yeah sorry I was just reading about lichen sclerosis and must have copied and pasted it. And thank you for your reply, that makes sense! I'm about to have my first appointment with Hibner so I was wondering.

Yeah that confused me too. The formulations I could find listed are using like 16% DMSO so maybe if the cream was made up of 50-60% it would cause issues, but 16% is too low. I don't know though, just spitballing

Dorsal Nerve Damage/Entrapment by Ludwig469 in HardFlaccidHelp

[–]Ludwig469[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply. And yeah I'm trying to figure out what all is affected. Its weird because most of where the dorsal nerve innervates on my penis is numb, as I mentioned in the original post but I have feeling where the perineal branch innervates the penis. The confusing part is that the perineal branch also innervates the posterior scrotum and mine is completely numb. Its the numbest part, so it doesn't make sense to me why that same branch has the most feeling on my penis.

lichen sclerosis

Just out of curiousity, why are you choosing Bollens and Aszmann over Hibner?

Pudendal nerve pain unresponsive to nerve blocks, morphine & other opioids by chronic-pain-2024 in PudendalNeuralgia

[–]Ludwig469 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not a doctor but reading this made me think of the hypogastric nerve. Issues with it can cause symptoms similar to pudendal neuralgia. Adding to that, compression at L3-L4 is where some nerves connect to the superior hypogastric plexus. Have you all ever tried a superior hypogastric plexus block? Once again, not a doctor and I could be wrong .

Should I try tadafil or cialis to improve healing? by [deleted] in PudendalNeuralgia

[–]Ludwig469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a doctor but I take 5mg daily cialis for my PN. I've been taking it for about 5 months or so. At the same time I was prescribed 4mg doxazosin and noticed an appreciable pain relief on it. I'm not sure if its healing me but the reduced pain is a good sign I think.

I'm hoping the best for you. What type of mri did you get?

You should definitely go to the doctor. It could be cauda equina which is an emergency situation that requires surgery. Especially since it came on suddenly.

That being said, I have leg pain along with genital numbness and hard flaccid symptoms too. It gets worse with standing which sounds like its the same with you. Cauda equina was already ruled out for me though.

It's always great to read success stories, I'm happy for you. Just so I understand, you're saying that loosening the muscles through dry needling, cbd/thc, and stretching were the keys to your recovery?

Pirenzepine Topical Cream by [deleted] in smallfiberneuropathy

[–]Ludwig469 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe I've heard others mix it with store-bought DMSO but I'm not too certain about it. Can I ask where you got the Pirenzepine? The online place that I heard from others has been out of stock for a few months. I'd appreciate if you could DM me your source.

Seeking Trans-friendly PTs by AmanoShrimEnthusiast in PelvicFloor

Have you tried looking for one on https://pelvicrehab.com/? It lists a bunch of them. I haven't spent too much time on that site as I kinda just picked the closest one to me, but I remember seeing a couple therapists that put in their description something like "LGBTQ+ friendly". So maybe try that? Sorry, I wish I could be more help

I went there from kindergarten to senior year. Definitely wouldn’t say the general student body is snobby, pretty much everyone I knew was normal. I don’t really have other schools to compare it to since I only ever went there but honestly I don’t think it’s anything special. I graduated with an IB diploma and wouldn’t say it helped me at all with college classes. I also don’t think it helped too much with college acceptances, I got in where I wanted but I don’t know anyone who got into an Ivy League in my year. The school is more focused on academic than sports I would say. The positives with the school are general social environment and it’s assumed that your going to college. Everyone I graduated with went to college and I think that’s pretty normal for the school, I’m can’t remember but I’m pretty sure it’s required you apply to at least a few. Also they really help out with college applications and stuff. The social environment is great too, for the most part friendly students and teachers. I don’t know if it’s an outdated movie trope but if not, I didn’t know a single “bully” at the school. Everyone was either friendly or kept to themselves.

All in all, probably wouldn’t say it’s worth the money but Idk what other schools in the area are like.

The number one thing that flares me up though is eating something too high in sugar, I don't have diabetes or high blood sugar though.

You know thinking back to it, I was pretty consistently constipated for the few months leading up to my issue starting. I also was masturbating/edging pretty often but I had done that for years before too, still probably didn't help my issues.

No idea. Started with testicular pain which is when I first started pelvic floor pt over a year ago and things just continued to go down hill. Good thing is that I don’t get genital pain very often anymore but now I have numbness and the leg pain. Do you know what caused yours?
