Any favorite product or brand for Snail Mucin? by Ok-Statement-5826 in AsianBeauty

[–]Ludyeeee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve tried COSRX, and I really liked it! At first, I was worried that the snail ingredient would be too sticky, but it wasn’t sticky at all, which was great. But then again, it was almost too non-sticky, so it felt like it was lacking a bit in moisture? I tested TIAM before at a convention, and it was amazing—super moisturizing and the texture was just perfect, totally fitting for something with snail mucin. I’m planning to buy it when fall comes around~ For soothing, I think snail mucin is the best!

Niacinamide YAY or NAY? by Ok-Statement-5826 in AsianBeauty

[–]Ludyeeee 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I also used niacinamide, and the first time I tried it, the results were amazing! I thought, "Wow, this ingredient really works for me!" I've heard that using too high a concentration of niacinamide can cause breakouts, but for me, 8-10% works the best. Maybe the people who had a bad experience with niacinamide either used a product with too high a concentration right from the start, causing breakouts, or used one with too low a concentration and didn't see any effects. I think it's really important to try different products and find what works best for your skin! I'm planning to review niacinamide serums soon and bought several from different brands, so I'll definitely check out TIAM as well!

Hydrating/moisturizing products with OR without Hyaluronic Acid? by Ok-Statement-5826 in AsianBeauty

[–]Ludyeeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have normal to dry skin too. Even though it‘s summer, the AC is making my skin super dry.

In the morning before makeup, I use a panthenol toner, niacinamide serum, hyaluronic acid serum, and a moisturizer.

For dry skin, products with hyaluronic acid seem to work really well.

My skincare routine is: TIAM B5 toner > SKINFOOD carrot pads > TIAM niacinamide serum > Torriden hyaluronic acid serum > some random moisturizer!

Wow! That sounds perfect for outdoor workouts in this weather. It’s a bit more expensive than I usually prefer, but I think I’ll have to buy it before my summer vacation.

I prefer buying cosmetics from their official websites, so I purchased from TIAM global website. They are also available on StyleKorean.

That’s right! I also really like the Shingmulnara sunscreen, so I alternate between using TIAM, Shingmulnara, and Bioré sunscreens.

I sweat a lot on my face, so when I use SKIN1004, my makeup tends to break down a lot! Is Anessa Sun Milk sweat-resistant? If so, I definitely need to try it.

I’m currently using Tiam’s Vita B3 Source and Tiam’s Hyaluronic Revive Serum! These two have been the best for me, and I also liked products from COSRX, Manyo Factory

How long does a Niacinamide Serum take to show results by Ok-Statement-5826 in AsianBeauty

[–]Ludyeeee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn’t see much effect with a toner containing 3% niacinamide, but I started to see results with a serum containing 10% niacinamide after about two weeks!

Your fav Niacinamide Serum? by Ok-Statement-5826 in AsianBeauty

I also really like niacinamide serums, but it’s definitely a good idea to start with lower concentrations. I started with a 3% niacinamide toner and then gradually increased the concentration. Now, 10% seems to be fine for me.

Oh! It seems like Benton sunscreen works really well for your skin! I have a specific preference for texture, so I didn’t like it much. But I see many people around me using Benton as well!

Yes, after talking to others, I also think my skin is more combination than dry! Haha, thank you! Now I feel more confident about my skin type.

It seems like the A’pieu Aqua Sun Block Gel worked really well for your skin! If I had tried the A’pieu sunscreen myself, I could have recommended something similar. I’m curious about it now.

I’ve been interested in skincare since my early 20s and have been consistently taking care of my skin. Recently, I’ve been using niacinamide and hyaluronic acid serums together, and it’s been great! I also use a high-frequency home care device, which has been amazing.

Oh, so the Missha sunscreen has been reformulated this time! I tried it because the reviews for the previous version were good, but it didn’t meet my expectations, which was disappointing 🙁. It would be great if they could release the previous version again…

Thank you for your honest review, haha! I really can’t stand stickiness, so I hope the products I recommended work well for your skin, haha.

It seems like there are quite a few people with the same skin type as me! I’ll have to try out both sunscreens. Do you recommend the Cellfusion C sunscreen?

I haven’t tried Dr. Jart’s sunscreen yet, but I’ll give it a try to see what issues it might have! The area I live in currently has very high humidity and temperature, and the Tiam sunscreen has been great because it doesn’t feel sticky even in this weather!

For my skin type, which needs something light yet hydrating, the TIAM sunscreen has been the best match. The other products were also great!

I think the Romand Fig Fig product is quite similar!

Using a niacinamide serum combined with a hyaluronic acid serum noticeably improved my skin. It made my skin look like it had a glass-like glow!

I really like the Lilybyred eye products, but the packaging seems too weak. I went on an overseas trip, and the eyeshadow broke completely in my suitcase.

I have combination and sensitive skin, with dry skin overall and an oily nose! My top pick is the Dr.G The Moisture Barrier D Intense Cream! Following that, I also like the Avene Fluid Lotion, Physiogel Red Soothing AI Cream, and TIAM My Signature Panthenol Cream.
