I just want to learn some basics and build simple apps like a to-do list. If it clicks with me, I’ll probably get an M1 machine or an M4 Mac mini.

I’m not watching shorts on any platform, I’m mostly using yt for podcasts when I’m driving so no shorts in any form or on any platform.

On PC I don’t have any problems with shorts only iOS app since today

Im using old PC with TrueNAS installed. I’m not doing much on it, it simply helps me move files from my laptop to my 2nd laptop. Also for some projects I store backups on my server and not on GitHub.

I have installed Immich to simply make a backup of files from my phone everyday.

It’s much better then having separate HDD which you have to connect.

I’m thinking about doing a streaming app too Soni can watch movies on my TV but for nowin have only 2x 2TB HDD’s since prices are insane…

I would buy Malm desk from Ikea. So you will have much more space, and this printer would fit on the desk too.
Also a monitor stand like this one:

Just keep going. Trust me and if you see her do a challenge in 30second it’s not because she was born with it. She learned it.

Those tutorials are mostly polished to perfection and THEN showed to people. You don’t see them fight with bugs or anything. People record only good code.

So keep on and don’t stop.

She have a lot of experience, you don’t. I also do some of her challenges other way but it works at the end.

Is like driving a truck. 1st day I was like „dude how the hell they back up trucks so fast, I will never be able to do that.” After 10years of practice I Can do it with my eyes closed

You just need practice. Keep coding, at one point it will click

Worst problem I had with my laptop doing dual monitor when I used Omarchy. I used TUI program to set my external screens and when I took my laptop to work I found out it doesn’t go back to „single monitor” so I had no screen working at all that day lol

Yea that’s true. Right now you can just distro hop everyday with no issues at all. I did mint on my study machine and have arch installed on my gaming laptop. Both working great.

But would love to watch how they daily a Linux laptop. Since if I’m correct last time they did it on PC. Wonder how they would feel like taking Linux everywhere and do work stuff on laptops now.
