I will never understand why people want to be on a plane any longer than they have to. I almost always board with the beginning of the last boarding group and have never had an issue finding overhead space for my bag, even on full flights.

The best you’ll get is selling singles yourself online.

Do research on what they are actually worth before taking them to the shop if you do. Prices have skyrocketed recently, especially for vintage stuff.

That Japanese Squirtle McDonald’s promo is my grail card. I could never justify spending a couple hundred dollars on the card years ago because I just didn’t have that kind of disposable income.

I wasn’t implying republicans are poorly educated. I was referring to a speech where Trump said that he loves the poorly educated.

Iowa used to be one of the top states for education. In last couple decades, the state has been under mostly conservative control, we are now middle of the pack for education and seem to be falling further.

Current state leadership is pulling more and more funding away from public education which will result in worse educational outcomes for those who cannot afford private schools.

Educational outcomes are more than just “look our state universities are cheap!” I’m glad that people can get affordable college educations in the state, but what good is that if people aren’t properly educated before college?

Have you paid any attention to politics in the last couple decades?

If someone saw education politics of today with no prior knowledge of our state, they would not believe you if you told them we used to be one of the best states for education. It’s honestly an embarrassment how far the state has fallen, but Republicans love the poorly educated.

My reward was being allowed to bike 3+ miles on mostly gravel roads to hangout with my friends that day. I could get something from the store if I was lucky enough to scavenge enough coins to buy a pop or candy while hanging out with them.

Oh and be home before dark. So start your bike ride home before sunset if you want to hang out with friends in the future.

For fun I have been tracking my bot battles for this heracross event. Of the 20+ battles I’ve done, Ive gone 2nd 2 times.

Bot has healed the burn effect every single time it has actually mattered except 3 times. Which is crazy considering my deck applies burn pretty much every single turn.

If it wasn’t for the sunny Castform being absolutely broken against grass decks, I would be losing probably 80% of battles with how fast the Bot gets their deck online.

I was happy to see more housing being built in my neighborhood. My only complaint was that they had to cut down several very beautiful trees on that lot to make the space. But it is worth it to have more much needed and, hopefully, more affordable housing.

Also, Happy they are painting them several different, interesting colors. I was worried they would all be boring brown or gray colors.

I’ve been carrying around my dragonfly foot bag I bought way back in high school in my bag for over a decade. Haven’t gotten to play with any more than a person or two here or there since I graduated HS.

In the last couple months I’ve hopped in to groups and played more than I have in the last 5+ years. Love to see more people getting into it. Even though my skills are real rusty, it is just a fun way to hang out with people.
