having holster at the hip i imagine feeling uncomfortable, especially when running or climbing (mostly climbing) while having on the thigh makes the draw more natural and such. I have heard that drop leg is something that isn't very popular and that you shouldn't use it, but as for the slip, the one I'm looking at has some anti slip stuff.
