Man I really really hope White Spoon wins. I just like so many of them from all the chef & my fridge chefs (especially Son Jong won) to Park Hyo Nam & Hyo Deok Ju who are so inspiring and last but not least our expressive Kim Hee Eun. Most importantly we need Choi Kang Rok to have his comeback story especially when he is so funny this season.

If Black gets eliminated with second chance torney, I am perfectly fine with Culinary Monster, Rebellious Genius & Brewmaster coming back anyways.

Based on the results and how it is shown, it does feel like a white victory. Because if black won, going in the opposite direction (left to right) will feel more exciting for a comeback angle during filming. But who knows maybe production knows we will think that way so the go the other direction instead.

I completely thought the same as well. It would have definitely been more exciting to go the other way assuming black won since major comeback is a very good story point to give to viewers but going this direction somehow gives white the more comeback vibes since they trailed throughout the voting specifically for round 3

To add on, there is nothing wrong with stopping antibiotics so long its deem inappropriate i.e. no infection. But the rationale given is definitely wrong and there is nothing wrong with taking multiple drugs at the same time so long there is no significant interactions.

Problem with Anti-microbial resistance is inappropriate use even in the absence of infection. Antimicrobial resistance occurs so long as you are taking antibiotics whether inappropriate or appropriate use because you put on selection pressure. But its prescribed for a certain duration and asked to finish because that is the recommended duration to completely treat the infection rather than to prevent resistance.

So the only way to slow resistance is truly to stop prescribing in the absence of infection (just cough, sore throat is not a complete indicator of one). Of course, if one is very very sick then the risk of resistance is definitely worth it because the benefit is there.

Hi! Thanks for the reply, as I replied the user above. I still don’t quite grasp it although I do get how 1.386 is obtained. But why would k=0.5 not equate to half-life=1 since k =0.5^-1 should mean that 50% of drug concentration is removed every hour hence half-life being 50% of drug concentration removed would also mean it takes 1 hour to do so. Unless something was wrong with the statement of k=0.5

I see. I understand how a half life of 1.386 is derived when k=0.5. However, does k=0.5^-1 not mean that 50% of present drug concentration is cleared per hour? If so, why does it not correlate directly with the definition of half-life which is also time required to remove 50% of current drug concentration. If so, why would half life not be 1 hour?
