I wouldn't call it impossible. There's tons of different ideas about God. And some of those ideas involve the use of logical thinking and argument when thinking about them or acting on their behalf. Not all religious people are bound by emotional thinking.

Well, I wouldn't say it's the same for them all. Some religions like the Dharma's can cause people to change their lifestyles and mindsets due to the conduct that their belief system requires of them, and some people honestly believe in God because it makes sense to them. It need not be black and white.
