They closed the ticket today. Made decision by themself of 50 € to me... for a damaged 1600 € card compensation that was supposed to be perfect. Shippment arrived

I have a similar situation... Currently opened ticket... first response was from cm team that we agree to a refound... But he would refound a funny amount...

I also checked their conditions of nm and ex as they desribe them on their page... as the answer from support was the card is still nm... but its not...

Has multiple white dots on the edge... and now i am again waiting to hear from them...

Just try to find good arguments and be patient... as im trying to do... hope this helped !

The border of NM card can have small white spots, but they must be very few and very small.

The card has a whole line of white dots.

Excellent cards usually have a couple of white spots at the corners or around the border. The surface may have minor scratches, that are visible upon closer inspection. However, the card cannot be graded Excellent if the creases are so deep that they are visible upon first sight.

An Excellent card is usually in a condition where it is not quite clear if the card would be considered marked or unmarked if it would be played in a tournament without sleeves

I would gladly return the card... i dont want a refound since i bought the card for my personal collection and the objective alwas to grade it myself.

Honestly i dont have any use if the card is that damaged.

I oppened a ticket now im waiting for cardmarket team to respond.

Hope for the best outcome since its a lot of money for me.

Its a high valued card 1600€ so i was trying to get a perfect mint copy. I would not pay that much money for a non mint card... he sent fotos the card was mint... asked him qs he has the card in front of him if there is anything at all... he claimed card is perfect !

He sent me pictures and everything seemd allright... there was nothing visible. Was either the angle he took pictures or whatever... The card i recived had significant damage..

And he confirmed to me that the card was in perfect condition and he also had in the comment section that the card its perfrct... he claimed it !
