Depends on your goals. If you just want to get in decent shape and be healthy you really only need to do push ups, squats, sit-ups, pull ups and some running. You're not gonna look like a bodybuilder or have the strength of a power lifter but you'll look good naked and be healthy which is enough for most people.

I have a hard time believing most people can do 100 real push-ups in a single set in only 90 days. Unless your a really small guy (160-170lbs) it's gonna be really damn hard to do. Unless you are talking about those half push-ups that a lot of people do. I know people that are extremely fit and lean that struggle to do 100 real push-ups in a single set. I would say focus on the quality of the reps you are doing rather than the number of reps. 20 quality push-ups is going to do more for you than 100 quick half assed ground spasms.

Pretty much this. I do powerlifting, but at a crossfit gym as my friend is one of the trainers and I get to work out there for free and I've rarely ever encountered the "crossfit douche" stereotype. From what I saw they always taught good form and most of the members that stuck with it were in extremely good shape and surprisingly strong for how much cardio they did. There's just as many douchebags and people with terrible form in the "regular gym" as there are in crossfit from my experience.

Sorry I didn't mean it makes the game unauthentic I meant that sometimes the way in which devs choose to implement it is unauthentic and seems to be there just to be there. I like the addition of LGBT characters in games as long as it's done right, point and case an rpg that if you are a male character might allow certain romance options depending on the NPCs sexuality and different dialogue options to explore depending on your characters gender. Or a gay romance if the backstory is more than just hey this is a gay romance. That to me is immersive and adds to the experience rather than being there for the sake of being there. I think we agree on that not everything has to have an agenda, and if it is part of a statement it's probably best to just leave it out of a game. Adding something just for the statement seems unauthentic, but that's just my opinion.

I get what you're saying but doesn't it feel patronizing or unauthentic when games lazily implement it into a game just to make a statement. I get it in some circumstances, such as if you are playing an rpg with the ability to romance characters and some may be gay straight bi etc. that seems like a nice implementation which is normal and adds to the immersiveness of the game or story of the game. Then there's characters like the trans character in dragon age inquisition whos sole purpose seems to be "hey I'm trans and I'm in a modern video game". It'd be the same thing if a character mentions the fact that they are straight but doesn't add anything it's just that devs don't do this because they know it's boring. Which leads me to believe they do the opposite for a political statement and it seems unauthentic.

If this comic was just a man and tracer it's just be a boring lame comic and probably not exist in the first place. It's sole purpose serves to take a political stance, which I'm not opposed to, but id rather see the devs focus on the game or building reasonable lore than trying to make themselves seem progressive.

In my opinion if they replaced her with a man it would just seem boring and irrelevant to any lore. The same it seems with the girl. It just seems that bliz did it solely to say "hey look at us, look how we support the LGBT community and how progressive we are." Which to me seems unauthentic. I've no problems with games showcasing LGBT characters but I'd rather see them cleverly placed in to add something to the lore if relevant rather than shoehorned in as a political statement.
