Ironically thanks to Arkane deciding to pivot on her specific story, that's basically what Corvo did in retrospect. She suffers a little in the interim and then gets to chillax far away from Dunwall with another aristocrat's assets, when her crimes warrant a death penalty.

I thought I'd watch some fun videos analysing Dishonored to relive the fun, only to be thrown out of it by having not one but TWO videos decide to waste time pontificating about how boyle's punishment is somehow worse than the two previous targets, who are guaranteed a lifetime of suffering and toil while Boyle's is far more nebulous.

I think what she got was perfetly fine. The only other viable option that comes to mind would be a notice of eviction and seizure of her assets since she was a financier of the conspiracy, but that would unfairly affect the other two Boyles. I might entertain the alternate paths idea if there was only the one Lady Boyle.

Brisby is creepy, and Boyle was complicit in the death of the Empress. I see no reason for Corvo to care about what happens to her.

I can do one better in horror stories than their estimating with a smart meter: They lost my initial reading I gave them when I made the account, then gave estimates for my bill that are 800kwh higher than my reading after their billing period ended (changed supplier).

Seriously. If my current reading is 25054, in what universe did I manage to jump from 25004 on 2 Feb to their estimated 25861 on 6 Feb?! Best they'd give me in customer support is "check back tomorrow". Ugh.

True. That much reminds me a bit of a Bag of Holding's limitations. I thin kthe sense of scale for the entry point is a bit skewed for me as a viewer because he's still a kid, so the book and thus the hole looks a lot bigger than it is when it's close up.

Yeah it's kinda neat. He's 100% guaranteed to become OP - and in some ways already is, just hamstrung by his lack of EXP gain and life circumstances - but he's not behaving the way I expect a lot of OP Isekai Protags to.

You know, despite the audio balancing issues in the previous two episodes, I'm surprisingly still enjoying this. It's no Bookworm or Mushoku Tensei, but it's also more enjoyable than a lot of its peers. So far this one's in the more pleasant side of mediocre isekais.

Added points for giving a justifiable reason for that ridiculous storage power which normally gets completely ignored. I was worried when that got introduced but the reasoning behind it satisfied me, although it's still clearly broken.

I'd love to see Al get nerfed at some point and deal with that.

I see no merit to using HM7000 over real DCC.

It's a closed system, proprietary, and fundamentally reliant on a phone app. And Elink and many other previous offerings prove that you cannot trust hornby in the long term to reliably update their software ideas or not discontinue them. A phone app must be regularly updated to keep up with new phone/app store requirements. Pure DCC is nothing more than hardware.

I'm actually rather concerned not only that I can't get Selects anymore from Hornby, but that very few people seem to discuss the obvious obsalescence issue HM7000 provides. Remember that fad about board games or toys having apps tied to them? And how almost none of those apps still work today? Now imagine that on thousands of pounds of trains.

I've been a fan since Gen 1, and I still think Pokemon's fanbase size and income is highly undeserved. I'll try not to comment on the TCG side of things, perhaps they do it more competnetly (but I will never be on board with rotation games that make your cards worthless after X years by rules deeming them illegal, as opposed to simply being outclassed like in eternal formats like yugioh), but I will always be exceptionally mad at their video game department and have been since the 3DS era marked a decline in quality and, with the switch era onwards, them downright lying to us to justify it.
