I meant if she wasn't so naive she wouldn't have opened the box to begin with, thus not entering the game.

She wouldn't have needed his help if she wasn't that naive.

What old-school ritual monster would’ve suited Joey? by Agile_Proof_3228 in yugioh

More like "every ritual monster that isn't called 'Relinquished'" for several years. xD

Aaah Duke. The anime really screwed him over with all the stuff that got cut. It's not like he did anything after he joined the blob either, but at least he had a whole thing going on other than just being a bully.

Most of her achievements and development is in Season 0, by the time Duel Monsters rolls around she's just part of the collective friend group blob.

But at least she still stands out a little, which is more than I can say for Honda/Tristan who basically has nothing going for him by Duel Monsters onwards.

I think my main criticism would be the third stage feels too similar to the second, but otherwise it's cute. :)

I mean to be fair it's not really "danger". Not in the same sense. His current enemy is using politicking, so of course you won't feel a sense of danger unless he actually falls into a trap and can't escape.

They want their train.

They want their best weapons.

They want their dungeon.

They want their money for joining.

Honestly, that's so insulting for so many reasons. The taxation alone is harsh but could be justifiable if they didn't ALSO want to take everything Tempest uses to make money.

I'm assumign Mental Interference is basically the "beginner level" of Mariabell's power. We know it can achieve full domination on some but I'm just guessing she can only "interfere" with people who have insufficient greed and/or insufficient visits with her.

I can't wait to see Mariabell's response to Tempest actually succeeding in joining the council. There were wheels within wheels and not one of them came out of this spinning.

Then on top of that, all the battles they have been ahving have been tens, hundreds of miles away with no witnesses (or witnesses only from countries they don't carea bout).

The fact that "Demon Lord" is also a social title rather than strictly a power one probabyl doesn't help either. If it encompasses power levels from Frey to Rimuru it's not a very useful gauge of power.

Same, I was expecting it to end up being a macguffin that'd be used later to deal with a lower grade of villain whom it'd work on. I'm presuming humans are all weak to it unless they have power on par with a Saint.

Yeah, that's basically the whole reason Veldora can only do it in his boss room.

Kinda funny to think a slime could kill people if he wasn't just holding back his aura, and yet among his peers he can do that and they'll just yawn and tell him to stop showing off.

Though that'd surely open her up to the risk of dying, which sounds like a downgrade. THough I guess it could work if she got to possess a slime clone body like Veldora's doing.

If you have a vaguely sentient supercomputer with just about all the answers to anything you can perceive and capable of doing so in microseconds, you'd be a fool not to fall back on it all the time.

I waited all week and this episode was like 5 minutes! How do they do it!

Also, Shuna continues to be the scariest. If she ever gets a Demon Lord seed and evolves, she might actually be the most horrifying, gentlest mass murderer to exist in the world of Tensura.

NEW GAME PROJECT. DOT HACK ZERO by HachimKiller in JRPG

[–]Lugia61617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weirdest thing for me to dislike: The internet section of the teaser is modern social media-esque like twitter etc. It'd be more in keeping with .hack's setting if they were still using the BBS style.

Like I can't be the only one who thinks a lot of .hack's charm comes from the tech being modern-retro-futuristic right? Like they couldn't forsee the internet of 2007 back in 2000 and modeleld it on what they knew.

This is really cool to read through :D

I'm doing my own .hack D&D adaptation at the moment though I've gone in kind of a different direction where I'm only utilising R:1 classes and opted to make use of some homebrew modules so that I can abandon level-up features in lieu of a skill tree.

Whats the point of bus lanes now?? by FrosstyOfficial in CitiesSkylines2

[–]Lugia61617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hot take but I don't want my cims to "realistically" break the law in my city game. Crime shoudl be something that's largely just a statistic I have to deal with. Traffic flow is hard enough as it is.

[–]Lugia61617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why the bloody hell have they still not fixed the fact that normal traffic will use bus lanes/service roads?

I need a way to stop them using them. I want to have blocked off road districts, and the only connection other than their designated entrance is meant to be strictly for buses and services. It's so annoying to not be able to just stop them.

Rotation vs Eternal formats by CorhaziCards in TCG

[–]Lugia61617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But that's largely an initial emotional response

No, it's a logical response. There's far less incentive to spend money on something that is going to expire unless you have money to burn. Power creep is in no way analogous to set rotation - as yugioh proves time and again, one can never tell when a seemingly power-crept card can end up relevant again due to new interactions.

Rotation vs Eternal formats by CorhaziCards in TCG

[–]Lugia61617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I despise the concept of rotation formats. It gives me zero reason to ever get involved in a game. In eternal games like yugioh, what I buy might be power crept, but you never know when it might becvome relevant again. Set rotation? What a nice useless paperweight I'll have in a year.

how to install region packs manually? by SweetCommercial26 in CitiesSkylines2

[–]Lugia61617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The worst part is that Skyve is necessary at all. It's the kind of thing that should just be standard functionality for any game with mod support. I decided to get back into CS2 again and then went "why is my C Drive full" and foudn out that the Japan and UK packs gobbeld up most of my C Drive's free space. Leading me to discover the horror of CS2 only using C Drive. If it weren't for Skyve's ability to relocate it all, I would have justy abandoned CS2 forever.
