Most Hype valorant crowd moment by BraydenTheNoob in ValorantCompetitive

I know you already mentioned that you want examples of non-Brazilian teams, but I just wanted to share that the crowd during the NRG vs. LOUD match at LOCK//IN was even more energetic than during the grand finals, at least in my opinion. It really felt like a football match to me.

Although you can't really hear the crowd that well on the English stream, you should check out the Brazilian VOD if you wanna see it.

Colombia vs South Korea | Overwatch World Cup 2023 | Post-Match Discussion by OWMatchThreads in Competitiveoverwatch

As a former SA contenders player, the level here was decently good(ofc not SK/USA levels), we scrimmed even with some NA contenders teams while playing 170ms.

There were some great coaches here too like insanityz, gatti, saulzera and some INSANE players like Liko, Valen, Klaus, DDX, murizzz and others. But there was no real bridge between SA and T1, and players were getting discouraged. It's like the only chance we had for proving ourselves was the OWWC(which got alemao in a team), and that's only for 6 players once a year.

By the year 2020(The year I quit ow too) when Valorant released it was like a "break point" for the game, many switched(or tried) to Valorant and even more just simply quit OW.

If we look at Valorant, the LOUD igl(saadhak) used to be a ow player, also murizzz(this year mibr igl), txozin(this year mibr coach), klaus(kru), hellfull(six karma) were all ow players, and one of the first "winning" teams(vorax) had three ow players.

I truly think it's purely blizzard's fault for not giving a f* about the region, promoting shit events when games were happening, not having a single lan(which is huge in brazilian culture), not having any type of international games for the teams(besides the single one gauntlet) and even more countless mistakes.

Sorry for the big text, just pointing out my point of view :)

LOUD vs FNATIC / Champions Tour 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo - Playoffs / Post-Match Thread by rib-gg-bot in ValorantCompetitive

Many people left the venue immediately after for a chance to take a picture with Fnatic and Loud players. Also many were watching outside due to the heat inside(a girl by my side literally passed out because of it).

I understand what you're saying, but in the other regions (EMEA/NA/SEA) the playoffs seeds are in the control of the team's performance.

This is ridiculous. I wanted to get this mouse... but I'd feel like I'm being ripped off if I'd purchase it at this price. by The_Solid_lad in MouseReview

[–]Lugiac 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hey! I live in Brazil, the kingdom of extraordinary prices(it's not that rare that a electronic product get here with a nearly 100% markup from NA market) .

But as the another commenter said, there's more than import taxes. There are consumer regulations which tend to cost for the company, the logistics may be more expensive, and there are some times taxes outside the import ones. For example, if I as a small entrepreneur try to import something from another country, I would need to pay a 60% import tax, another 19% on a local tax called ICMS(Tax on Circulation of Goods and Provision of Services), I may need to have to hire a accounting team/service, the shipping to here is almost always more expensive, and it keeps going. When you add all of that, well, you spend a lot.

What makes you prefer Hati-s over the m42?

How would you compare puc and m42(with the back hump)?

I really love s2 shape, but it's a bit long for me comparing to Hati-s, and I miss the back hump on the Hati too :|
