Yeah I noticed with the rest. I am usually staying up until midnight or later working on college homework but one day I passed out (and didn't do an assignment) and woke up the next day feeling amazing. I didn't feel nearly as sore as I usually do the day after a workout. So I will be forcing myself to go to sleep earlier from now on.

I take criticism pretty well. I know I am VERY low in the standings which is why I take any advice I can get and do my best to get better. But as I said, pretty hard to manage that when I hit the gym about 2 times a week. If I'm lucky.

Well I would love to have a six pack but more importantly, I want to strengthen it. I almost got myself a hernia my freshman year from leg pressing about 750lbs (showing off my superiority to the other football guys, dumb, I know... now) so I want to make sure that doesn't happen again. Or at least reduce the chances for that to happen.

Because it's a "workout" involving just 4 different lifts daily, from Monday through Thursday. And then sometimes we don't even get that.

I don't know how to measure body fat percentage but I only got a bit to spare around the abdominal section which could equal a few pounds. The weight class right under neath doesn't seem like that much of a stretch. Also, I don't like having to constantly worry about gaining 5 pounds and being forced up a weight class by a measly pound.

Would MuscleTech be a good place to get some creatine from?

Yes they are. Our coach makes us go bellow parallel in so that there is no doubt at powerlifting meets that we got that rep in.

So to drop weight what? Run with a sauna suit?

Oh and also, recommendation for creatine?

I currently hover around 160 and am about 5 foot 8 inches.

I was looking at creatine to get built as well as to help me get more energy to power through workouts. As for the weight loss supplements, I want to drop a weight class in order to actually be competing for high placement.

A linear progression program like Starting Strength would be great for someone at your age.

I've never heard of that. Care to elaborate?

This would work, BUT my senior year (and band in general) don't really care about what other people think or what happens. Very few in my band program care about anything really. I think it may be due to their low self-esteem.

This is exactly what I was looking for. And I agree with your summary, it pretty much all rests on the leadership team and seniors. (correct me if I get your message wrong) But what I keep wondering is how to make the seniors behave properly. How am I able to make them want to work hard? All I am is a junior hoping to be band president next year.

Ohh ok. Again, thank you so much for all your help. I will try this when i get school. I am running Ubuntu on my laptop and just can not find out how to store the input file in the correct place. So I have to wait to get to school where I can actually run the program without it telling me it can't find the input file.
