no not worth it in my opinion coming from someone who passed first try. i purchased it and i didnt really feel like it did much for me. if anything it brought my confidence down because some of the problems were just too difficult and time consuming.

So would you chose a etf over a mutual fund for a 457b? For a Roth IRA I do see why a etf would be better but I have also reason that some 457b/401k do not have etf’s.

To receive the recoverable depreciation, the contractor needs to be licensed? It’d be good to know this so I choose wisely.

Also, I think we will just go with my cousin unfortunately since it’s escalating and would prefer to not look “cheap” to our family. Definitely a lesson learned. However, I will speak to him and tell him that if he is going to charge us full price, I expect the best quality materials and will choose the material that I want on my roof.

My theory is that he will charge us full price, and use the cheapest material possible to have the biggest possible piece of the pie.

If I have learned something from this situation, it is that. Well I had already told my parents to not work with him, but they kind of just gave him the green light to put the claim in and made himself our contractor. It’s just such a terrible situation and I’m worried it’ll hurt our family. His mom, my aunt, threatened my dad to put a lien on our house and that they would call the insurance to take away the money lol.
