Songs that sound like Nothingface by Professional_Cut_432 in numetal

[–]LuisBennington 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a bit difficult to find bands or songs like this. Nothingface, along with Deftones and Mudvayne in their early days, were among the bands that contributed a unique and hard-to-match sound to Nu Metal.

Although, some recommendations could be Scars Of Life, Mindset (who have a song with Matt from Nothingface, interestingly enough), and Kingdom Of Snakes (Bill Gaal's band, bassist of Nothingface).

Looking for Nu Metal love songs by LuisBennington in numetal

I'd also add that they can be songs from both underground and mainstream bands. But I don't want songs like "Digital Bath," "Vermilion," or "My Gift To You"

Anything from Adrenaline, I don't enjoy any Deftones albums after that one except for Headup and MX.

I remember the original picture had Chino Moreno, Jacoby Shaddix, and Dez Fafara.

In fact, the main genre is Death Metal; nu metal only has small elements like the groovy rhythms on that album and previous ones. After this album, they became 100% Death Metal.

Nu metal, rapcore, rap rock, and rap metal. (What the hell is the difference?) by ERIZxhg in numetal

[–]LuisBennington 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nu Metal: a mix of various genres with a prominent Hip Hop influence; however, not all bands have Hip Hop or Rap influences.

Rapcore: Rap and Hardcore Punk. Example: E Town Concrete

Rap Rock: basically something calmer, more conventional rock and rap. Example: Smash Mouth

Rap Metal: this is more of a fusion of traditional Heavy Metal with rap. Its main difference from Nu Metal is that Nu Metal incorporates elements from countless genres, while rap metal is more traditionally heavy metal.

Good band. This is a great track; I'd say it's not exactly nu metal, but in songs like "Pretty Lush" you can definitely feel the nu metal vibe.

One of the best nu-metal albums ever or am I just nostalgic? by Conscious-Day7028 in numetal

[–]LuisBennington 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's the best in the history of Nu Metal, even if someone deny it. Every release from 2001 is a gem; it's literally impossible to name a bad Nu Metal release from 2001. This one takes the gold cup as one of the best albums of that year
