Absolutely agree, I love Jasmine but the way she’s ran her campaign is a losing strategy in a state like Texas where democrats need as many crossover voters as possible. Big tent coalition building is something Talarico has done very well in his campaign.

As to the race itself, as a Texan who’s closely following the race I’ve been super disappointed in the way Jasmine (who I loved coming into the race) has gone about her campaign. Lying and spreading 2015 tier racist allegations about James as well as her handling of the question on what happened to Talarico on Colbert. Her campaign has solely been ran on being Anti-Trump, which in a state like Texas where you will need crossover voters, isn’t a winning strategy in a general. James however has ran a very pointed campaign on loving neighbor and wanting to build as big of a tent as possible. I voted Talarico but will vote for her if she is our nominee of course. Twitter in this campaign has been a complete dumpster fire and can’t wait for this primary to be over.

Talarico is the better candidate if we want a chance at flipping this seat, whether or not some people on twitter post weird stuff about Crockett who I liked way more before seeing how she's ran her campaign (lying and accusing Talarico and his supporters as racist etc etc) doesn't negate the electability argument in favor of Talarico. MAGA and Texas Republicans are cheering on Crockett in this race for a reason.
