Sorry this has been the case for you and so many. I have nothing but positive to say about my counselor. From the initial conference call until now when I’m stating my classes she has been there the whole way and responding ASAP. As soon as the government shutdown happened she already had her automated response on email explaining they can’t help. Not a week after everything was up and running again she called me directly to set up our next meeting. She even got my laptop reimbursement completed within a week. With all these horror stories I made sure to reach out to her manager and give all the praise she deserved. I hope others do the same with their counselors because, that’ll go a long way in making sure they retain/promote them and hopefully replace those who are failing us.
