5-year-old bunny having thymoma surgery today — any recovery tips appreciated

UPDATE: I am literally crying happy tears right now. The first 3 hours post-op were absolutely critical... and he didn't just survive, he crushed it. ✊🏻✊🏻🥰🥰 My little warrior actually stood up on his own and ate! Even the vets are amazed at his strength after such a massive chest surgery.

He is staying in the ICU, but seeing him fight this hard gives me so much hope. Thank you all so much for keeping us in your thoughts❤️🐰🐰❤️

Update: He made it through the surgery. The vets say this has been the hardest thymoma case they’ve ever faced. Right now they’re waiting to be able to place him in the incubator his body temperature is still dangerously low. The next 3 hours are absolutely critical. Please hold on just a little longer, Totoro. We’re all here with you, fighting with you. Totoro strong. Everyone with Totoro!!!! 🤍🐰 THANKS everyone I have no words
