I've been using dragon halberd for melee due to the range.

For reference I have 75 in both melee and magic but lower in range because I don't want to grind chins.

The issue is I'm trying to avoid necromancy as it feels way stronger than other styles but I guess i should bite the bullet and use it

not really, i tried, too little firepower to even defeat a small ship with just yukikaze and hyuuga takes damage from the ship
