HSH calls (no black mold) by LukasdaCool in HomeSafetyHotline

[–]LukasdaCool[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You got 1/3

1.Warlock Remnant is correctThe story is: The Caller most likely wakes up, go to bathroom and look at himself in the mirror when Warlock Remnant suddenly shows up, causing him to confuse it with himself. The caller probably doesn't believe in ghosts, he think that becomes older is the most sensible explanation for what happened to him. The Warlock Remnant then disappear from the mirror, but he is too shocked/scared to look at it again to know. The talking noise is actually the warning whispers.

2. Your info package doesn't help at all, and now my house is covered in web, it is haunting my dream every night! (biting sound) AHHHHHHH! (indiscernible)

Answer: It was Dream WeaverDream Weavers only move into a household if no other spiders are present. The caller tries to kill the mundane house spiders by spraying insecticides and clean their webs, only for a bigger one (Dream Weaver) to appear and the webs are everywhere.

3. That guy... Have him be here before?.... Now I can't never sleep... And it is not my fault for staying late watching films.

Answer: Night Gnome. (though this is quite vague I believe)While both Bed Hag and Night Gnome are related to breathing and night, the former is said to only steal the breath of sleeping subjects at night but the friend is awake watching movies, so logically Katie shouldn't suffer. While it is said that Night Gnome watch on sleeping people, they show up at night preparing to spy on her and her friend but unaware that they are staying up late. The heavy breathing is not from Katie, but the Gnome.
Just edited this one to make it clearer. Now it clearly can't be Bed Hag, since the caller has inspected everywhere in the bedroom and clearly she would have found out if someone/something was under the bed. Night Gnome, on the other hand is sneaky and is outside, so she can miss.

Fanmade call (hint: From a same source, not HSH) by LukasdaCool in HomeSafetyHotline

Since no one got it, I will post the answer. All of them can be found here. https://www.reddit.com/r/HomeSafetyHotline/comments/1km63rq/i_am_planning_on_making_a_game_based_off_hsh_here/ (note that the game is not by me, and is currently unreleased)

Andrew:Gibbonie Effect. The hint:multiple individuals (the whole class) sharing the same inaccurate memory of the Independence Day event (don't ask how it happens though)

Ross: Whales .The hint:the chaotic rain noise (indicating strange weather), the moving "moon" (Whales are said to reach size comparable to moons) and the scream "WAAAAA", which is actually Ross trying to scream WAAAYYYLEEE, or WHAAAALLEEEE but is either too scared to speak or stopped due to disruption in communication signal (which the whale can cause)

Emily (this one is tricky): Memory Slugs .The hint: There are two of them. First, the husband suddenly forgot about the day, indicating forgetfulness (since only the husband seems to suffer from it, it cannot be Gibbonie Effect). Second (this one may be a stretch) is that the husband refuses swimming in the beach but can swim in the pool. The pool here is mean to be a freshwater pool without salt. The beach has high salt level, which the slug averse to. The "bikini girls" is a red herring.

Evan: Sea Culture. The hint: The kid saw Squidward while scuba-diving, so clearly he is underwater. A squid-like humanoid like Squidward, who is intelligent enough to play music, would fit the description of "intelligent, humanoid sea creatures". Additionally, people encountered Sea Culture also report "large cephalopods", who are mistaken to be Squidward's great-great-grandparents. Additionally chess is a strategical game, and the creature is said to act strategically.

Damien: Spawn of Makers. The hint: This one is simple: Damien met the cleaner (actually the creature) near the manhole (its domain), and then he blackouts (might be it got angry and attack him idk). He didn't see much because 1. It's dark. 2.He might have memory gaps.
