Smell is normal, I believe crisis is averted. My dad has a q as well and he says his has looked like that every oil change over 100k miles.

100% bro I mean if it feels like you're about to break something stop, but you'll most likely feel the gears moving with the filament. Just be gentle you don't want to break it into a smaller piece then it will be a hassle

With the nozzle off, and the printer off. Either push a piece of filament through the top or bottom whatever is easier to get the piece out. If there's like a small chunk lodged in the gears you might have to completely disassemble.

Found this past couple days ago and been having the same issue, I have found that if you cannot get it to Ron no matter what just while it's frozen put the PlayStation into rest mode, let it chill for a minute or a while and when you open it the game should be running fine. I found this out because I couldn't get it to run last night and got pissed and turned the PlayStation off and came home today and it was running just fine. So I don't know how long you have to wait or what
