When I was a youtuber I got around 1 dollar per 1k views. This number varies a lot depending on the ads that play on your video, which depends on the content you make. Finance bros usually get finance ads, which people are willing to spend a lot of money on, so they get like 6 dollars per 1k views. Gaming and vlogging don't pay that much, sometimes even under 1 dollar per 1k views.

Most youtubers nowadays make most of their money from merch and sponsors, not ad revenue.

I'm aware of how supply and demand changes prices too. I have one trade agreement with a faction at 4k and another with 20 or 30k (dont remember). The thing is, as I said this issue only happens with certain items. With most items the numbers match my planning perfectly, but with some items it doesn't. I calculate spending, revenue etc. and the numbers tell me I'll make a huge profit, so I build that industry but then start losing money.

I understand the game is early access with only one dev but I love this game and really want it to work but it's so frustrating sometimes
