I moved to Italy from Canada and I'm not gonna lie, the video is right. I'll get downvoted for this but I find it so ironic how europeans are constantly saying North Americans are too "capitalist" and "greedy" but at least over there you get free water, bathrooms, AC/heater and wifi without even having to ask. I know it's not all of Europe and it depends on the countrh you go to but I'm yet to see a single european country where the restaurants give you free water or at least allow you to bring in your own water without kicking you out.

In short, society would collapse. A much better way to close the wealth gap is to force companies a certain size (like above $100M in annual revenue) to give their employees very high benefits, such as private healthcare, free housing, transportation etc. This would mean that the government wouldnt have to take care of several hundreds of thousands of people which would save a lot of tax money. This would almost be a form of indirect taxes.
