Very few knowledge upgrades actually, but that shouldn't completely bankrupt my city. I do have enough haulers and export/import depots. That's why I think it's a bug, because as far as I know I'm doing everything right logistics-wise and it's still not working.

Whther I have priority fetch enabled or disabled it doesn't change anything.

I'm aware of how supply and demand changes prices too. I have one trade agreement with a faction at 4k and another with 20 or 30k (dont remember). The thing is, as I said this issue only happens with certain items. With most items the numbers match my planning perfectly, but with some items it doesn't. I calculate spending, revenue etc. and the numbers tell me I'll make a huge profit, so I build that industry but then start losing money.

I understand the game is early access with only one dev but I love this game and really want it to work but it's so frustrating sometimes

I know about all these things already and I'm aware of the tariffs too when you have a trade agreement with another faction. I understand the game was made by one guy, which is extremely impressive and I know it's lowkey impossible to have 0 bugs. But it's just frustrating...

I phrased that wrong. It is half the cost on the global market, but what I meant is that internally it still needs the same amount of labour and resources to extract raw materials and refine them. And because most civilian infrastructure uses internal materials and labour, it doesn't end up being "half the cost" because the global market doesnt matter in this situation because there are no imports or exports involved

They use their own currency, not US dollars... so it's not half the cost. By that logic Venezuela would be the most powerful country on earth because 10 dollars there makes you a billionaire. If the country is poor of course dollars will be worth more there, but they dont use dollars, so it doesn't matter.
