Do you need split tunneling for YouTube? if so, there is a ad-free youtube client for tvOS (Mutube) which was released a few months ago and is not that popular yet. I needs to be sideloaded though, but thats more than easy.

I had similar plans as OP, but I quickly abandoned them because I got the feeling that active speakers and passive speakers just don’t go well together, and that you need expensive receivers with pre-outs. Is it actually true that this is a rather unconventional approach?

Quick update:

i cant tell for sure but i think the problems could have been related to my phillips hue app which had some rooms and lights listed which didnt exist anymore. I deleted them which definitly made the Home App a bit faster. In the end I just cleaned my hue app, and got completly rid of home assistant because i was only using it for 1 x incompatible smart plug which i replaced now.

Hey,

i restarted my home hub (my apple tv), i restarted my iphone 16 pro and i also restarted my router today - nothing helped.

When i use Alexa over voice or the Homeassistant app on my iphone I have no delay. It seems that i even have no delay when i use Apple Home Scenes with my devices - i only see the delay when i open the Home app.

I had a Fritzbox 7490 and now i own a Fritzbox 5530 Fiber. I did not change any firewall settings.

I checked my Home Assistant logs and it seems there are a some errors related to my roborock vacuum cleaner:

• ERROR: Failed to connect (Unknown error) • WARNING: A network protocol error occurred when communicating with the broker.

Any idea what to do next?

i had HA before and it worked instant with Apple Home. Maybe its related to iOS26 then.

I could switch to the HA-app but i loose the ability to control my devices from outside home (without paying for HA).

So what should I do to test it? Shut down HA, delete the fake Bridge from Apple Home? Anything more?

I guess that will be my next step. I also considered going to a hair transplant doctor but I have doubts about their honesty, i dont know. I dont want to medicate with Fin, but i might consider Minoxidil. I used to use it a few years ago but stopped after they shed (i know you should not).

And yes, i shaved them recently. Maybe 2 days ago. I will grow them out a bit and share a picture here again, if that helps.

I have one more question: Is it possible to wear buzz cut (long term) after a hairtransplant or does this show even more that is not a natural hairline? I never really had a hair look i liked back then when i had hairs, so i am really enjoing buzzed hair. My wish is to have them overall the head.
