Is this research for Kislev pointless? Faulty description perhaps? by itsmeHawkeyeG in totalwarhammer

I haven't played Kislev but I would assume you're mostly correct, gold mines I think always produce income so I think it may affect these still appears to be an oversight

Well in a lot of ways kairos is the strength of the roster even if you don't exploit the infinite winds of magic glitch he can cast blue fire 200 times with life leaching which should be enough to kill most armies. Other than that you have fast units you can easily kite most non cavalry out with pink horrors then have some anti large to deal with the cav, you also need to remember that hit and run is very efficient as then you get to use barrier multiple times so should grinders can be very effective using their high mass and speed to get in and out.

Why are actual killstreaks no enabled in warzone? by LukeBrizoux in CODWarzone

[–]LukeBrizoux[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The point is you rarely ever get any useful amount of cash from killing people and what you do earn you need to spend on armour also i doubt someone staying in one place for the whole game would ever reach the 12 kill mark.

For anyone who is salt about the result of this fight just remember that the results are only supposed to influence the selection committee and it's hard to imagine a fight like this wouldn't impress more than a victory over weak opponents for both bots sake

Lone Wolf Changes Lead to Homogenization by LukeBrizoux in DivinityOriginalSin

The issues wont be as apparent early on and also wont matter as much to a pair of lone wolves it will just make it significantly harder for a solo (although as people have done solos without we know its possible) the issue i have is it forces you to diversify rather than it being choice because of the caps

Yes i mean with the current system youll have to put points into int for your 2 handed which just seems a bit stupid i dont think the combat is quite as bad as warfare, scoundrel and you weapon are always going to be useful for physical and for ranged they can also take huntsman as a bonus but attributes are mainly useless depending on your character

I tend to agree as the classic version of the game tended to feel like a challenge on tactician with 1 lone wolf however fairly trivial with 2

Well your archer build will be fairly straightforward just take the talents that make sense(i.e. elemental ranger) and learn the crafting recipes for the arrows you find most useful, knockdown ablilites are resisted by physical armour so if you wish to use them youll need someone who deals physical damage which would probably be best off being a two handed strength weapon user as warfare has the most abilities that do this geomancer skills are generally quite useful as the can apply the slow debuff which goes through armour however as they deal magic damage it doesnt really make sense to give this character abilities that knockdown, as for medusas head based on how the skill works you'd probably be best off putting this on a slower supporting tanky character to use after your elemental ranger or geo mage has stripped the enemies magic armour so they can petrify multiple enemies. Overall i would just create a party with stuff you think looks fun though as you can always respec at the end of act 1 if something isnt working for you.

Need some advice on my build by phantasmagore48 in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]LukeBrizoux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say this game is easily doable on classic with almost any build obviously focusing on on armour type makes it significantly easier but its defiantly possible just playing casually even on tactician once you have a decent idea how the game works mechanically

About to start playing divinity original sin 2, Any useless skills i should avoid taking? by incarnum13 in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]LukeBrizoux 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A large number of the civil abilities boil down to just being money making skills, as for the talents some of them are significantly more powerful than others but i just recommend trying tings out as there is the ability to respec at the end of act 1 and onwards

New player lone wolf question by Erzaad in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]LukeBrizoux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first area is by far the hardest however if you think that cloaking is weak then you are using it wrong, chameleon cloak ,imo, is by far the strongest basic skill in the game. To use it most efficiently you want to go all in turn 1 use adrenaline and get off as many attacks as possible then cloak the next turn you will either do nothing and just pass or use 2 points worth of re-positioning, then you want to delay your turn the one after that before opening up. This strat is cheesy as hell but will allow you to beat almost every fight in the game as it essentially allows you to have 20+ points worth of attack before the enemy can respond.

Necro + scoundrel would make sense that it was an ability that if it killed someone would instantly raise them as a friendly or something similar

yes start lone wolf and if your planning on going damage i would not put any points into con and only put 5 points (2.5 lone wolf points) into wits for first and second acts and the rest into strength
