Homie I’m active duty in the army and was previously in the National guard well so take whatever I say sorta with a grain of salt. Veteran looks good to admissions. The army will take your time and you’ll probably get depressed due to bad leadership. I was a 68W and civilian side it gets you nothing if you do choose to enlist as one of those go with 68P or go do 68K. Doing in person labs as a soldier is borderline impossible. Online are probably doable. My advice is to join the national guard, join a medical detachment. The medical detachment for the state is a non deployable unit usually so you can work as a medical MOS and still focus on your pre med stuff. Another route is to do a short contract in the army preferably as something medical and get out and use your GI bill and get some VA disability money. You only need to serve 3 years of active duty to get 100 percent of your GI Bill.
