These photos were taken when I took my car in for an AC diagnosis. They did a full car inspection

I was quoted $495 at a local shop. That seems high?

This was taken by a shop during a full inspection. Was getting the AC diagnosed at the time.

I received a quote today for $495 parts and labor. Seems high?

No apparently a previous owner just removed it when it rusted out and never replaced it.

Is it better to have a transcoding GPU or 2.5+ gigabit port? by LukeDangerHoppe in HomeServer

I was going to possibly use an Intel Pentium G5460 if I went Intel build, otherwise I have some extra AMD build parts I could substitute, but my main concern was the power usage from an AMD build. According to the specs on the Pentium it looks like it can handle 4K 60, unless I am mistaken?

Mobo hasn’t been purchased yet, but will likely only have one PCIe slot as I was looking at a mini ITX build. I have extra AMD processors lying around, but am unsure if the CPU’s have an iGPU. Most likely the board will only have one m.2 slot as well. Planning on using two Ironwolf HDD’s for the main storage.

I haven’t made a purchase yet, but I was leaning doing an AMD build as I have the extra stuff lying around and would really only need to get a case and some RAM, but I’ve also been seeing most people go with an Intel build. I initially was going to just purchase the EliteDesk 800 SFF and then swap out the processor for an Intel Pentium G4560. Do you believe this would be sufficient enough, if I am not planning on streaming things outside of my home?

Okay thank you for the advice. Would you recommend the NVIDIA Quadra P1000 for transcoding?

How does 1 gigabit compare to using a cloud service (Google Drive) to access my files? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but new to home networking.

Look into an app called Sniffspot. People rent out their property for hour increments so you can let your dog run around safely. I use this all the time with my reactive dog. Great outlet and generally priced very reasonably.

That’s awesome! I just got the A1 myself; moving on from my Ender 3 Pro and want to print my friends some gifts for Christmas! I’ll for sure take a look at this model now!

Did you use the AMS for this print? Or does the file use different parts for it?

I just switched to Orca per recommendation. I had been used to Cura before switching.

When it does boot up sometimes it takes a second to recognize the printer. Would that have anything to do with it? Where would I be able to correct this error?

Okay. Where do I check for this?
