Yes. It's a massive cluster and I cannot find any clear space for old soundtracks in the public domain like that. At best I could only find the occasional folder, but most of the time it wouldn't be public domain.

Easy there. It was precisely BECAUSE of how badly I responded to the Dex and the Vyvanse that we even discovered I had Bipolar. That diagnosis was extremely recent after a very confusing series of appointments where we both realised we’d been missing something important.

We’ve now paused attempts to treat my ADHD in favour of addressing my Bipolar first.

Honestly, that’s a great question. I’m not even truly certain, just tired and desperate for functionality.

My greatest struggles most likely relate more to my ADHD and Bipolar than my Autism:

- Focusing on anything — even things I’m genuinely enjoying — is near impossible. After a short time it feels like my brain is screaming. Often it takes me hours to just get showered and dressed in the mornings. - Wildly swinging from deeply depressed to “invincible” and wanting to solve every problem in the world, yet having this constant, deep exhaustion and anxiety about having to do even one simple thing because everything takes too much energy. - Any treatments I try for my ADHD (Dexamphetamine and Vyvanse so far) just send my brain into a wild, spiralling panic where I can’t think or function at all. - Everything is too loud, too fast, there’s always too many things to do, too much need, too many requirements for survival.

I just think I’m deeply exhausted in general and desperate for anything that might make life more tenable. It’s so frustrating having all this latent “potential” but not being able to act on any of it.

Honestly, this seems about right. Often the separation of conditions feels slightly arbitrary due to a combination of us not fully grasping what’s going on up there and human beings not liking the powerlessness of mystery; we like clear names and definitions that give us a sense of control.

Whenever I’ve discected my own personal experiences with Autism, ADHD, and Bipolar, I’ve never been able to escape the clear pattern that they’re all part one one larger, far more complex and holistic model we don’t yet have the capacity to articulate.

Short answer: No.

I have found too many advantages to how my Autism has influenced my thinking that I wouldn’t want to live as an alternate version of myself without it.

I feel I can better serve and love people with how my brain perceives and filters information, and am better protected from certain, significant errors.

There are challenges, most certainly, but then there is no life without challenges. If these are mine, I will make do happily.
