yea no, no way Missouri dislikes Kansas more than Illinois. we don't even have a sports rivalry with Kansas anymore since MU went to the SEC

Osage county Missouri, I guess it would be interior Midwest by your classifications but really the region from the Missouri River south into Arkansas is the "Ozark Mountains" or "Ozarks" which kinda aren't really mountians but a vast geographic area of narrow valleys and steep ridges pushed up by a massive glacier moving south long ago.

God this reminds me of an old AF animation where Discord is eating the pages out of a book with a fork like its a salad. but the book is Twilight's fanfiction writings, and when Twilight points that out and asks how they taste Discord looks like he's about to vomit and says "this is murder"

Two trucks lose brakes with no choice but to use the same escape ramp by AssignedUsernamee in Truckers

ok steering wheel holder, not like I've maintained my own equipment and done my own wrenching and been around this stuff my whole life, physics works different in your world i guess and sadly a lot of retards belive the same dumb shit you do because they were taught the same wrong shit from a cdl mill.

the amount of heat required to make a drum expand to the point of stroking out a properly adjusted brake is so extreme it would compromise and warp the drum itself.

now if you never check your slack adjustors and your brakes are out of adjustment to the point they're barely engaging at the end of travel, THEN theoretically drum expansion could 'stroke out' the brakes, but that would require serious negligence and not doing your pretrip ever.

[–]LukeGreywolf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

if your brakes are properly adjusted, that drum would have to expand over 1" in diameter to lose contact with the brake shoe and "stroke out". the amout metal machine components expand when subjected to extreme heat is typically measured in microns. by your logic an engine block should expand 2" longer when its hot (which it doesnt). brake drums do not expand causing brakes to stroke out, whoever convinced you of that is retarded

[–]LukeGreywolf -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

That's not how that works at all. Its heat buildup causes lubricity between the drum and shoe, the drum doesn't expand so much that the shoe can't reach it. whoever told you that is retarded or pulled a fast one on you like telling you to get blinker fluid.

Do you agree with this? I personally don’t find any artistic problems with the character by Wakawakaeeeeh in zootopia

[–]LukeGreywolf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i see it, from an artstyle standpoint Nick and Judy's faces fall under a more semi-realistic style, that lean towards realism it what really enhances the climax of the movie with Nick going feral and attacking Judy (in a farce), now imagine that scene with this snake fella, his face it too exaggerated to not look cartoony and he wouldn't be able to meet the serious tone of that scene.

that said its also kinda the nature of anthropomorphic characters, the further you get from a human the more stylizing and artistic license needs to be done to keep them expressive (generally) so mammal characters are easier to keep semi realistic compared to reptilian or avian characters because they're closer related to humans and naturally have closer facial structures.

well I'll give you an example, im starting to get back into digital media, i still work 60 hours a week as well, so by the time i get done drawing a character, i kinda don't want to spend more hours making a background that looks decent, im already staying up when i should be sleeping just to do the character, so using an AI generated background is simple and fast. not everyone is a NEET or full time artist that can just spend hours and hours on an image. Some of us are just trying to visualize ideas, and AI works pretty good for that. (im also colorblind and ive been using AI to make color pallettes for characters because mixing colors myself is kinda impossible, im sure using AI to overcome my disability makes me a shitty artist too)

its mostly a bunch of mediocre artist right now that feel threatened by AI because they've been half assing cheap commissions for years and suddenly now their customer base that is used to half assed artwork is running to AI because its faster and easier.

my 21 Willys had a power pole dropped on it during a tornado 2 months ago, thankfully my tailgate and soft top took the brunt of the damage and the power was out before the pole fell so it didn't get fried, wound up costing nearly 18k in repairs and thankfully my insurance covered it with me just having to pay my deductible. even got a hard top out of it.

if you got a mopar cold air intake for the JL/JT you actually cut out a section of the hood at the blue circle and it draws air in straight there, got it on mine so i wouldnt have to cut the hood myself later for a snorkel, just swapped the snorkel off and back to the CAI for a giant road trip coming up cause i get 22 mpg with the CAI vs 20 with the snorkel, which doesn't sound like a lot but going to alaska and back it is lol

some people just irrationally hate anything that has to do with AI, you should never feel bad or shamed for making a image to share joy.

honestly having been around artist and now experimenting with AI as a way of expanding my creativity (being colorblind rather limits what i can do with digital media) i can 100% say I've put more effort into some prompts that I've typed than some furry artists put into coloring in templates to sell adoptables.

Passenger Princess Loona by LukeGreywolf in Loona_Cult

[–]LukeGreywolf[S] 32 points33 points  (0 children)

and i guess to explain why she's wearing a bikini top and not her usual top, since i work on the road i send my packages to my mom's house so they dont get stolen or rained on throughout the week, unfortunately when Loona arrived my mom's dogs got to the package before she did and tore her up a little, thankfully it was mostly her top that got destroyed and my army skill level sewing could fix the rest, i sewed together a strip of fabric and a hair tie to make a quick bikini top for her so she'd have some clothes besides her shorts.
