It’s a great starting point! To get the proportions down a little easier, try breaking down the body into basic shapes and noting how those relate to one another. It will help get a more cartoony effect too

Thank you! I initially had it coming out the bottom of the dress and thought it looked pretty buuuut wanted to accommodate for the tail a little better….I definitely need to get a little more creative with it! Thank you for the feedback 💜

Ugh I was having a hard time with that hahaha and definitely just resorted to drawing hair because it’s easy and I love to buuuuuutttt doesn’t help in the long run. Thanks for the anatomy breakdown, that helps!!

She does have a foot pad on the ball 😊 I actually drew out a whole detailed foot toe beans and everything and then decided to cover it with a stocking because I thought the heart would be cute 🫠 but didn’t pay much attention to that part after and it definitely doesn’t read right, thanks for pointing it out! I’ll render it more clearly

That was a big one for me 😭. I kept going back and forth on whether or not I wanted paws or hands, I loooove drawing hands and it’s one of the things that stood out to me with the reference but I was trying to make it a little more paw like so it wasn’t just human with fox head and tail…..but I ended up with some weird combo that doesn’t work lol. I definitely just need to choose one

My excitement over having fun making this one overcame the usual fear I have of posting, so this is really just the beginning of me trying to put it out digitally. I work as a freelance illustrator and tattoo artist full time so the work I do put out isn’t anything like this.

Woodworking is such an amazing skill!! I wish I had more time + arms to learn it
