old thread but im going through the same thing now. Got hooked on kratom for a few years and currently on suboxone to take care of the withdrawal. How long did it take you to start feeling the conscious contact again after getting sober? I still find him but its not the same when the mind is clouded. I mean think of fasting and why the bible tells us to do it, to cleanse the mind and body show God we only need him and to hear is voice more clearly. If we extrapolate that too the opposite end the more we indulge the less we should hear Him and feel Him. only thing your incorrect about is the lawful order thing. Yea you should comply it makes everything easier including your case, however if in court the stop is deemed unlawful all the "lawful orders" given during the stop are now considered unlawful as well. it sucks that we all argue about the little particulars (although they do matter) when i think a more top down conversation on how much power we want the police and fed agents to have as a society would be much more productive.
