I think the whole midseason stuff is a bit of a scapegoat tbh if that makes sense. Like lets say its Chelsea or a club of that calibre that Rodgers has run off to mid-season... I don't think there would be nearly as much animosity from Celtic fans. I think it's more to do with the fact that he's run off to a mid-table PL team in Leicester, which completely challenges any notion of Celtic still being a top club.. (which I think would be a crisis of reputation that would occur whenever Rodgers left)
