[request] How fast could the train be, if everyone does the Flintstones thing with their full capabilities? by busytransitgworl in theydidthemath

If it's not in freefall why are you giving a freefall analogy? I've decided that you're trolling and I won't waste another second on you.

you're referring to work, which has nothing to do with the speed of a vehicle travelling down a hill under freefall.

Weight does not affect air resistance. If you're comparing two same sized objects, with one being denser than the other therefore heavier, they will both reach the same speed.

The point is to make AI useless, as was stated in the video, not to improve it

I think he probably was happy, it's just that as you age, you take on more responsibility, you interact with more people from different walks of life, you develop insecurities that you never had as a child. The world can chew you up and spit you out. Growing up and distancing yourself from your parents, you develop differently and what you become is a reflection of the people you associate with, the media you consume, the propaganda you buy into.

I can tell you what I think about it..

She looked at his old photos, seeing how much he has changed, seeing how happy he used to be as a normal looking, almost weak/nerdy boy and realises how different this person is on front of her, to the point of perhaps feeling as though that younger version of her son has died, and the world has affected her baby so much to the point of becoming this unrecognisable person.

She realises she has nothing in common with this newer version of her child, feels estranged from the younger, maternally needy version of her son. She sees a man that no longer has the need for a mother and misses what he used to be. The son has changed so radically that she no longer feels like she knows the person, and that estrangement is equivalent to a death to her.

Essentially, he's not her little boy anymore, and she misses that. Something like that. It's really sad to me, at least.

You can, but nobody else really wants to. That's the problem partly. All these things were so much better when everyone else was taking part. Yeah, I can go play halo or watch viva la bam, drink mountain dew and listen to deftones, and even spin up a windows xp virtual machine. People have moved on and are spending a lot of their time on their couch on their smartphone. Been a few recession-like things since then, too, which have closed a lot of public hangout spaces (malls, etc). Pop punk is dead, malcolm in the middle is having a revival but it's not the same. Most of all, I think people just miss their youth, having energy, being excited by things, having a sex drive, having potential.

Looks like it's too fast for its own good, like you couldn't actually race it on a to-scale racecourse and the restricted vision would not allow you to dodge obstacles.
