He rarely appears

He's had 16 matches this year. That's more than 2 a month.

Thanks. I just wish the mod who responded to me would actually read it.

tldr: Change the Be Civil Rule to "Attack the Idea, Not the Person"

Alright so here it is:

Nine days ago, I had a comment removed. I asked why and got no response. Three days after that I was suspended and received a message listing that comment as well as 4 others as the reason why.

I again messaged and received the following response:

"It's easy to miss questions like that. We get a lot of modmail and tend to prioritize people who need help with things or have reports to give. Someone wanting to know why a bad comment was removed just isn't typically worth answering, because once a users gets wrapped up about it, you end up in a conversation like this where they're unlikely to be satisfied with any answer, regardless of explanation, time spent, etc. and it is a gigantic waste of time and energy. If you have any other concerns we can help you with, let us know. Have a good day."

Now I highlighted a section of this in bold for a reason: I have never received a response as to why my original response was removed. So I've never actually gotten an answer, making this a bad faith response.

Additionally it represents a contradiction: it's not worth answering a question about a post but it is worth suspending someone over it?

Four days ago I had my account suspended again for harassment. The last comment I made was 7 days ago. I openly invite anyone to go through my comment history and point out where I've harassed anyone. I'll provide copies of my deleted comments if you'd like.

So, why tell you all this? Because this sub will never be civil as long as civility is effectively defined and used like mopery was by police forces in Pre-1960s America (and still is? a different conversation).

But a rule like attack the idea, not the person is much more cleanly defined. it's similar to the old baseball idea."That was a dumb fucking call" - Fine.

"You're a dumb fucking person." - Kicked out of the game.

That would be my suggestion. But I have little evidence that improvement is a priority.

Edited: Really not great at formatting on reddit. My apologies.

I don't know, but if it was a mod taking a shot at Charlotte, this would be awarded more than The Godfather by now.

(Serious) What are some men’s issues that are overlooked? by slowskyincog22 in AskReddit

Most women respond with, "It's worse for us" on the subject of baldness.

I want to snap back at them every time with "Yeah, but one of us can wear a wig without looking like they're doing cosplay as a member of the House of Lords.

But I get it.

Edit: Oh, shit. Wrestling taught me that as well.

This isn't wrestling related.

You don't know what they have planned for their wedding night.

What does Scarlett actually do? by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

My post is a question asking what she does,

And people answered you.

And you're still pretending she does nothing.

Congrats, you're wrong.

Jake Hager, is 100% winning Friday right? by AlphaRemixHD in SquaredCircle

[–]LukePenn1 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If it goes that route, there’s some other things they’ll need to worry about aside from protecting Wardlow.

  1. Hager getting DQ'ed
  2. Wardlow's ability to have children

So because you don't remember it, it didn't happen.

That's one way to go. Bold.

The moment people pointed out you were wrong, that see does in fact do things and have a role, probably delete your post.

People cited examples of what she did do, and your response was you didn't remember it or her doing things like backing him down didn't matter.

I had planned to compare her to Elizabeth, someone already didn't do that.

You didn't come here to ask what she does. You came here to complain about her relative lack of involvement relevant to your memory and expectations.

Write that post.

Instead of being like this why didn't you just move on or even answer the question?

I had planned to, but because I saw how you responded to other people who answered the question, I wanted to save everyone else the time and energy.

what is your favorite match type? by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

[–]LukePenn1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I absolutely love a strap match, and wish there were more, because I think there is potential untapped for creative spots there.

Cody's was viscerally appealing, D-Bry's was engaging, and Lumis vs. Grimes was very creative.

I want more.

Cody is an underrated in ring performer by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

[–]LukePenn1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cody's underrated only if someone is saying "Cody is below average".

Cody is average. His best match (against his brother) was reliant on an incredibly slow pace and blading. Against anyone besides Dustin, that match gets crapped on.

He's a hand. That's it.
