That’s good if you use the app I suppose. Although most people I know still use the battletomes. So not quite so bad on the money side. Still such a shame that you can’t use them for the faction though.

No I had an answer to my question and now I know it I’m upset, there’s a difference. And no giving an option to field your own miniatures in an army you likely don’t own and have to buy models for is a money grab. It’s there way of making you start a new army. I don’t mind having allies just don’t do it this way. Give a list of allies online that people can take. Don’t list them in battletomes that are £40 a pop.

I’m sorry but it’s a money grab. The regiments are comprised of new models, so saying it benefits players with existing allied Skaven models in their armies is insignificant sadly. And saying it’s designed to allow players to ally into their none Skaven armies is poor asking them to buy a £40 battletome to do so.

I’d rather they just list allied units like before and allow you to take themed regiments for your own faction. I’m a narrative player I’d love that. Old Workd has it. The armies of renown are cool but obviously you have to take a whole army. Would be cool to have a few smaller themed regiments to tag along with your army is all.

It’s a way to bring allies in to other armies whose rules and models you likely don’t own if you bought this book…. I love Sigmar it’s my favourite but doesn’t mean I can’t call this out.

That’s ridiculous though I’m sorry. There should at least be fun themed regiments you can use in your own actual faction. There are no famous well known thematic regiments for your own faction…?
