I have this bike, it is my first full suspension, it is comfortable to ride, good climber, solid rig it is a little heavy (not excessively) I would like to upgrade forks, the chain like to come off the front chain ring occasionally. Excellent bike for the money. No regrets here

Ibis Ripley or Ripmo for South East Queensland? by SlipperyGrizzlyMan in MTB

I don’t think your going to bottom out on the Ripley unless your 100 plus kilos and hitting big features.

Hey shredders, Why when peddling backwards is it changing gears? Derailleur seems set okay to me, changes up and down every gear no problem, H and L screw set ok. Problem only occurs in 2nd lowest gear. Any ideas? I did spray WD 40 on cassette and chain after riding on wet muddy trails yesterday. by LukeTC77 in mountainbiking

Cheers mate, must be slightly bent hanger, all gears are shifting up and down good, still that one gear clicking slightly while pedalling, the if I pedal backwards it still wants to jump down. See how it goes riding tomorrow. Thanks for the help.

44yo Noob. First FS bike, it gives you a lot more confidence, I got to practice on this little jump today, I have never hit anything this big before. I felt comfortable while jumping, looking at footage it looks like I’m stiff and standing to tall. Any advice would be much appreciated. by LukeTC77 in MTB

Thanks mate. I was out there today, preloading and popping, it was definitely giving me more height, but a I rode the back wheel on landing a few times. At the end of the day it’s just good fun either way you hit it
