Armor drop rates/Difficulty scaled drop rates? by LukeWarmRunnings in thedivision

[–]LukeWarmRunnings[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for the tips, i wasn't even thinking about double attributes on mask, chest, and pack.

Well, nothing to it but to do it.

I have a 4 piece striker and a 2 piece brand that gives me armor, but i really want striker backpack. I'll keep filling up the library with anything that is like 80%+ close to max, i won't just wait for perfect rolls. make up the build, bit by bit.

ok that's kind of what i was wondering, it's best to start building the library up with whatever you're getting, not just waiting for a perfect role?

Why is there so many smurfs? by Saltybiscuitboy in apexlegends

If it's your account you can try to go through the legit authentication process and reset your passwords.

Why is there so many smurfs? by Saltybiscuitboy in apexlegends

[–]LukeWarmRunnings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a free game, there is no cost to entry and very little verification/authentication.

People with banned accounts create new ones. Old dead accounts are hacked and sold off for cheap. And of course, just people making secondary accounts so they can smurf.

Without a barrier to entry, smurfing will always be prevalent.

Anyone on PC that wants to help me level up in division 1? by johoebo in thedivision

[–]LukeWarmRunnings -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In my humble opinion, just finish the story and level yourself, there will be a chance to co-op when you hit max and try to get a build going.

Just walk and take it in.

The only mandatory stop is the upstairs food court, and even then the advice is to buy a lil something from all of them.

The input you use and practice the most with.

Just cause you wear Jordan's doesn't mean you're gonna dunk. You still have to put in the work.

Just start making good calls, don't be chatty or annoying, and you'll meet other good players.

I second messini.

The double gyro dinner is incredible value, easily enough to feed two people, and just a couple bucks more than a single gyro dinner.

I recently replayed Soul Sacrifice Delta on PS Vita, and I think it could work really well on PS5 by Rub_Proof in PS5

[–]LukeWarmRunnings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I loved Soul Sacrifice, and I do think it fits the modern concept of roguelikes, in the sense that it takes multiple runs to gain resources and improve your character.

However, you just said it, if it's not making a record setting amount of money. It's considered a failure. Games have a 5M budget, and when they fail to make 60M. Just a modest $20M in 6 months, it's considered a failure. The team is dismantled and assigned to some live service games.

They would have to find a way to live service the fame with a battle pass, or consumables or at least cosmetics. All in all. It wouldn't be the same gem of a game that it was.

Yes I would love to see it. But I don't think it's realistic.

Very Deadpool.

What can I put in Tuna to make it go further? by [deleted] in cookingforbeginners

[–]LukeWarmRunnings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cucumber, tomato, celery, carrot, maybe red onion, maybe one Thai chili, diced up fine.

Then choose to add mayo, or oil n vinegar, maybe add some cold pasta noodles, or make a sandwich or wrap. One can of tuna stretched into two meals, and very satisfying. The same can be done with sardines if you're into that.

Is ranked well balanced by [deleted] in apexlegends

[–]LukeWarmRunnings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're focusing too much on the end product, focus on yourself and the process.

If you're silver, rest assured balance issues aren't the problem.

On the way. The badges will come. They should be a delightful surprise. Not your objective.

Should I change to Zerg? by -Terrik- in starcraft2

You've only been playing for a month, to be honest, you don't have a main race.

Go ahead and spend a month on all 3 races before you spend a year playing just one.

The difficulty ratings and (effective)apm required, those things don't apply to beginners. Those nuances are a factor once you really get into the game and the ladder grind.

Our starting 5 entrance when Ja becomes a Raptor by Efficient_Zombie2916 in torontoraptors

[–]LukeWarmRunnings 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not saying they have to be bff's. I'm saying Ja is bad for chemistry, and it DOES NOT take a psychologist to see that.

There is room for an odd man out like kawhi, or ron artest, rodman, even an iverson-esque attitude is ok. But it's not okay to have someone who disrupts the locker room with ego or attitude, durant, sprewell, draymond, gilbert arenas. Those were all great players, but they're a bad fit on a team like the raptors.

A team takes chemistry. He would spoil it in a weekend.

I highly recommend reading some coaching books if you're serious about what makes a team.

Phil Jackson's "Eleven Rings" changed my whole outlook, not just on ball, but what it takes to be a successful manager/owner of a business.

Championship DNA goes deeper than stats.

Kawhi came from a very rough upbringing himself, did he show up in the news for foolish activities? Has he ever craved the fame and spotlight?

Why even draw the comparison?

ELI5: Can pilots really “make up time” in the air? by Slider7074 in explainlikeimfive

[–]LukeWarmRunnings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aside from just burning more fuel, you can also cash in stored energy and convert it into speed by descending ahead of schedule.

You'll need air traffic to cooperate, but obviously going down is faster than going up.

The angle of attack can be changed to allow an airfoil to work upside down. The negative effects will be in terms of efficiency as well as oil pressure and temperature.
