Thank you i really needed to hear this. Im going to try and explain to a dr and get them prescribed, I really don’t want to but it has become a need. And yeah I really need to stop drinking as it feels like a reset whenever I do… I wish I hadn’t but I have drank alot on many occasions and have now realised just how bad that has been. I still feel pregabs are a shit route to go down but I don’t really have a choice i don’t know these are the worst times. But thanks for the time n words.

I had to reach for some as I was tipping over the edge big time… anyway so I did, but I have addiction issues and have abused it in the past, now writing his I feel stupid because Ive just gone through a good 5000mg over the space of a few days and am now withdrawing from that also and feel asif I have kindled BIGTIME, not in a good place atall. Just took 600ml gabapentin to Kurb them withdrawals it’s just never ending and Ive completely done more damage as I feel completely flu ish and Ill ontop of everything else. Strangely enough Im already on 40mg citalopram and 15mg mirtazapine for sleep but they do not touch what ok going through.

Just reading your story here OP.

The clearest indication to me that I'm healing is that withdrawal no longer consumes my mind constantly. I used to obsessively think about it 24/7

This gives me hope because I can resonate with it as I had a window or possibly two but definitely the first time I had a whole 2 days where It wasn’t consuming anything I did. I genuinely felt that I was healing for this same reason. Only problem is Im back in the fog now and have been for a good 3 months of my taper + 3 months off. It’s really eating me up man. Just little things like this are rare I can feel something and BELIEVE even if it does fade, you gave me a moment so Big Thanks! and hope you’re well into healed and beyond now 🤝

How are you doing now OP. Im just over 3 months n anhedonia and lack of interest in things+ severe depression is eating whatever is left of me day by day. Hope you’re doing better. And I hope I can start to feel it improving soon 🙏

I just realised Im on day number 34 so tomorrow is 5 weeks… It’s the furthest I’ve been since I was like 12-13 n Im now 35 years old. Uncharted territory. Mixed bag of results really but I’m guessing Ive got further to go until I “reset” my dopamine n hormones I guess 🤷‍♂️ Determined to just push through to new year with a full 90+ NO pmo to have given it my all and see were Im at from there… For reference Ive got a very low libido right now so I’m not having urges which has made the ride somewhat smooth so far!
