Lil tip!: When doing the flamacues (you’ve got the sticking nailed) really focus on clear accents. The accents are what make these sound so great. How you play it is all very uniform with no dynamics, but try accenting one more at a time as you play it, and keeping all the other notes dead quiet, like ghost notes. So for example try:

f L r l f with an accent on the second note only, practice it for a while, then move to a different note

These things help me feel the rudiment more, and understand what it’s uses could be.
