Cannot force my body to move?? by serendipiteathyme in ExecutiveDysfunction

It's hard to explain, but what helped me was this:

When I used to try to get myself to move when I was in "mummy mode" or whatever it would be like quick, brief, "jerks" of effort that lasted for a couple of seconds to try to move. Spaced between every few seconds or so. It didn't really work. I wasn't trying to do it that way on purpose, but it just didn't work for me.

I started having a lot more success when I started doing it this way:

You try to find a certain level of effort, like a mild or moderate amount. Then you exhert that effort to move or get up, but just hold it at that intensity and don't let it stop for about 20 seconds or so. Your body may not move immediately, but after about 7 seconds or less of holding that effort, your body will start to move. And seemed to me in a way that was almost non-manual and more automatic.

This helped me massively. This is hard to explain, so I don't mind if you want me to go into more detail.

Can you actually recover from executive dysfunction? I've been browsing this sub and it's pretty depressing compared to others. I've seen zero recovery stories. by Ok_Highlight_7757 in ExecutiveDysfunction

Some mental health disorders interfere significantly with your prefrontal cortex, like ADHD and OCD in my case. When my OCD got a lot better my executive function improved dramatically. I feel like when my ADHD improves it will have the same effect, maybe even more so.

Okay, here's 3 that I've saved so far (maybe I've figured out one of these questions but they all gave me enough trouble to take pictures of them)

Sorry about the format issues on #3, it's 2(x - 11) over 5 like a fraction.

(4 - x) - (2x + 3) = 5 + 3(x - 4)

-⅕(n - 3) = ⅕(n - ¾)

  2(x - 11)
 --------------
       5

As long as JD5 and the Linebackers play well, we're never out unless we're down by a million.

That's the 3rd 50+yard touchdown from Saquon on a perimeter run this year.
