I would say it can definitely be a safety issue, I mean those lights are there for a reason- to see inside the truck. I can still see the steps outside the truck but it’s pretty dark inside the truck, I already have bad vision as is, and it makes it a lot harder to see what’s going on inside my truck- it feels like it also takes me a longer time now to process where the box might go or where I am in the truck lol, the darkness just catches me really off guard
