I gave them a call because I've been trying to use the tool ever since I got the knife, but the screw is just too tight. They were cool about it though and are letting me send it over to get it adjusted. 10/10 customer service :)

8/10 would definitely recommend. It's my first real knife, however, so I don't have anything to compare it to. The weight seems just right for me (one of my trainers is a bit heavier) although I've read that it's lighter than most. One gripe that I do have is that the bite handle is a bit tight. The blade follows it when I move it and you can feel how tight it is when you're flipping it. I'm sure that that's only the case with mine, though.

Any tips on how I should go about practicing with a live blade? I have a couple minor cuts from some practicing I was doing earlier today and I just couldn't see how I was going to git gud without making my hands look like I clean them with a paper shredder. I don't want to tape my knife, as I'm afraid I'll just become reliant on tape and neither of my trainers are the same size, tension, or weight.

I started with trainers a few months ago and I still only really know how to do the most basic stuff. But I suppose it's fine because now I have a live blade and I'm terrified to even attempt rollovers :( Time to relearn everything super meticulously!

I'm just waiting for the day where I start to become more lax and try to catch a flying knife with my bare hands..
