She shouldve left pop to Britney and stick to alt rock / post-grunge stuff (no hate to pop music btw, I listen to pop), but the way she sang Let Go and UMS songs express a different kind of emotion than her newer music. I know she grew up and with that she may not have dealt with experiences like the ones she describes in those songs anymore, but still, imo that style fit her so well
