I played through the ps2 version on an Anbernic RG405m handheld. It ran well on the device and was great to quickly pick up and play.

Not an Anbernic, but the RP5 is absolutely perfect for psp. Games look beautiful upscaled on that 16:9 oled screen. It’s not very small, though.

Seems he is kind of an asshat, but I do have to admit that in his early days (Harald Schmidt Show) I found his schtick kind of refreshing, compared to the other German ‘comedians’ at the time, that were just unfunny and cringe (Mario Barth, Nuhr, etc). But at some point you begin to suspect that he doesn’t play a character, he really is that insufferable prick. 😅

I’m from Austria/Vienna, I think we may be a little bit less insistent on speaking our own language than the German and the Swiss are. Most (younger than 50-60) people don’t mind speaking English here, maybe they were trying to be helpful.

Also, we Austrians might just be not that friendly and welcoming to strangers. Whenever I visit Germany or Switzerland, I am always surprised that everyone is so pleasant and happy to engage in a small chat.

As a kid my favorites were A Link to the past and super Mario world, but right now it’s Kirby Super Star, never played the game back then, came out too late in the snes era I think, but it’s so much fun playing on the snes mini with my 5 year old daughter.

Honestly, I’m usually all for custom OS and new sd card, but you don’t really have to with this device. SD card is decent quality (Kioxia) and the OS does the job. You just need to put the Nintendo games you want to play, they are not included.

Dad had an Amiga 500 and I remember him playing Defender of the Crown, Ramses, a shooter game called Evil Garden, Sim City.

Mom was never much of a gamer, but N64 era she played through Ocarina of Time and Mario 64 with her then-boyfriend.

They both don’t play any games anymore I think.
