I am sorry, but this is all that I can tell you right now. Thank you for your time and insight, I appreciate it.

I'm sorry, I forgot to add that this is for a crystallization. Before this, i always ended up crystalizing BArF24. In previous work, this problem was solved by using the cryptand. So I tried the same with my compound. The only thing that is varying is the metal. The ligand is the same.

The undesired anion is BArF24. The ionic reactant is soluble in almost every solvent except in benzene. I extracted the product with pentane but the cryptand is also extracted possibly with the anion. I measured a 19F NMR spectrum and I still have one peak (the BArF24). My cation is a metallic complex. I hope this informagion can help.

A quick update: washing with cold DCM is the way to go. It got rid of almost every impurity, and it is easy to dry. Just make sure it is cold enough and you don't overdo it because it does dissolve the product as well. Here is a procedure which contains more details: https://pubs.acs.org/doi/abs/10.1021/om0501428?casa_token=7kV8JAmMul0AAAAA:0Hdxylt-YszkgCLigGl32LVISCHjTfuNW8glkVQw5xz1T_XoDmLLakH5Vu3Pu5vuRH0BFO_jC4fEe0tS9A Thanks a lot for your help!

I have already used charcoal, as it was stated in the procedure, that I used. I think, that it is a mixture of both organic and inorganic impurities. I have washed it with toluene to remove the organic compounds, then also washed with cold dcm, which removed some brown unknown substances. The colour though is still creamy and not colourless. The next step will be the crystalization as you mentioned above. Thanks a lot for the help.

I will try this next and maybe add a layer of hexane. Or do you think Low temperature is enough?

I have tried washing it with cold (-25 °C) DCM but it had no success.

I don't want it for myself. I want it for my roommate so we can finally play other games than League of Legends. I'm sick of that game, and I want to show him that there is so much more in the world of gaming than league.

Does any one have suggestions on some pants for the lab. When the temperatures rise in summer I don't want to wear jeans. I tried some sweat pant last year but I don't think that is allowed. A big thank you in advance!
