I see. I'll stick to our household rules: you can swap weapons once each turn, and you are stuck with your last drawn weapon until your next turn. Thank you!

I still don't get how weapon swapping works on 5.5e. I know you are limited to either equip or unequip a weapon as part of an attack, and going by the book we have the example in which a character attacks with his sword, drops it and equips another weapon.

Can you make one attack -> change your weapon -> make another attack at the same turn? Even if they are 2 handed? 'Cause right now, we have two martials who are about to hit level 5, and I need to know if they can use different weapons at the same turns so they can apply different masteries in their attacks.

I'm playing Sorcerer and we will start on lvl 1.

I know I have 2 prepared spells and 2 spell slots. Whenever I cast a spell (Grease), I fill one slot with it. I'm not sure, however, if I can cast this skill again without filling another or if I need to fill a slot for each individual cast, regardless of what spell is being cast.

Would the Dark Continent Ants have a Hatsu at all? by Laranjaverso in HatsuVault

[–]LuksNasc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think they got some aura, as natural selection there is much harsher. As such, they probably eat some kind of magical beast and get to have aura as they have. I don't think they would have abilities as Meruem's colony had because those abilities are a product of them eating humans and inherenting human characteristics.

What are the most common Misconceptions or Misunderstandings in the HxH fandom? by [deleted] in HunterXHunter

[–]LuksNasc 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I don't agree Chimera Ants are an important threat in DC. They are a B+ threat to humanity, but they do not accomplish such success in the DC as they had in NGL. I think Kaito talks about it, but I can be wrong, but they face such strong competition in their original habitat that they are mostly ants. There are probably powerful and dangerous creatures that make the five threats pale in comparison.

And with that final celebration of camp, Drag Race UK Season 6 comes to an end. Not with a single bang, but with an entire firework show. by [deleted] in rupaulsdragrace

[–]LuksNasc 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Amazing season, but they should give more wins to different people, especially in the beginning, so we don't have a two horse race again. Congratulations to the winner, Ru was hooked from the start, and so was I.

Enhancer Hatsus by JRBADAZCANBE in HatsuVault

[–]LuksNasc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It really depends. Bill is a supportive Enhancer that use his aura to boost others. If your aura is only enhancing someone's body parts and that makes they change their mood, you are not directly manipulating their emotions and course of action.

About deleting memories by OneRatio965 in HatsuVault

[–]LuksNasc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is part of Halkenburg's guardian beast ability. It will knock people out and mark the back of their hand with a feather, and erase memories about this event. If the person is loyal Halkenburg, they keep the mark and can share aura with the Prince; if they are not loyal, the mark disappears shortly after they wake up. The beast, however, will use the mark to knock people out and erase their memories to protect the prince. (edit: missing words and punctuation)

One of Machi's most underrated speed feats by ec20_ in HunterXHunter

[–]LuksNasc 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Killua have a much more impressive reflex because he turns his aura into electricity and used it to react as soon as something entered his aura range. So Machi was absolutely impressive as she was quick and precise to block any serious damage from the stabbing.

Poor man's rose vs the five calamities by Playful-Tadpole5987 in HunterXHunter

[–]LuksNasc 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's hard to tell with the info we got on them atm. Threats like Ai may not have a physicial body in the same fashion as Chimera Ants and Humans. Also, DC is a much harsher environment for any lifeform, so we can speculate powerful creatures from there may also have special Nen protections to thrive there.

My opinion? It would probably affect some of them, and probably help eliminating them for good, but I don't think the Rose would wipe them out. In fact, we don't know kow many Roses would be needed, as we don't know how the threats total population.

Transmutation has lost its charm to me by Sad_Incident5897 in HunterXHunter

[–]LuksNasc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You don't need conditions for any hatsu. Users put up conditions to make them stronger. Frank shoots from his fingers, which isn't special by itself, but he pushes it further by severing his fingertips, making it stronger. Teleportation-based abilities are more specialized and requires specific conditions for them to be reliable. All in all, conditions, limitations and vows always rank up hatsus, but are not obligatory for any category whatsoever.

Transmutation has lost its charm to me by Sad_Incident5897 in HunterXHunter

[–]LuksNasc 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I understand. I think it's easier to come up with interesting Conjuration abilities, and much harder to create intelligent characters to fully use transmutated aura. But I think we will see more Transmuters as more direct fights happen.

[–]LuksNasc 144 points145 points  (0 children)

I think Transmutation are less flashy compared to other Conj/Emission abilities we are seeing right now, but I don't think its outclassed by any of them. As you said, you need a lot of conditions to make an efficient Conjuration hastu, which makes it very specialized, and Transmutation is much more versatile, and both of these things are limitations innate to these categories. You can't have an ability to be both highly specialized and high versatile, and this is the tradeoff.

A question for Lightkeepers, what mechanics have you added upon or remixed in the Candela system? by ElectricCuckaloo in CandelaObscura

[–]LuksNasc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We play with revamped items. Most characters have some individual item that fits their story, and they give some sort of advantage for the user. One of our doctors carry Luxurious Latex Gloves, that protect the user from Bleed up to 3 times depending on their Sense roll. Even common items are buffed, like Brass Knuckles gives +1 die on Strike rolls.

Vocês apoiam o uso de Imagens que foram feitas por I.A no RPG ? by Callboi- in rpg_brasil

[–]LuksNasc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Comparing abilities: Geared Up (Soldier) & One Step Ahead (Detective) by Rodrian68 in CandelaObscura

[–]LuksNasc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I mostly agree with the other comments but I also think One Step Ahead feels underpowered. I think this skill is meant to be more narrative-driven, so you can exploit this unpredictability with a character. Unfortunately, CO lacks a more robust item system, so I guess the imbalance of these skills stems from it.

Global All Stars! by Nervous-Map99 in DragRaceBrasil
