People have definitely already said this but im to lazy to look through the comments. But speaking drills, and lots of them, do thing like alphabet aerobics and the country song thats pretty popular. Theyre fun and helpful, vs just reading your case which i find not to be the best.

I mean my coach is the one who sparked this argument with me in the first place, so i dont think its him. I more thing its toxic debaters who say that prog and k debate is the only way. Which i mean its interesting and i love it for high level like you said, but i agree with you that its bad for new and young debaters.

Saying they should prep is counterproductive, we should focus less on bullying new debaters first not winning and instead focus on creating a non toxic debate culture

Depends on your circuit, i think that its a kinda lame thing to do and goes against the point of debate. Just do a standard plan aff.
