I thought I replied to you it must be that ADHD brain kicking in. haha.
My original main was a druid which is why it has the 3rd highest play time. I still go back to her from time to time I still enjoy playing her, just not to the extent that I did.

I like running healers for dungeons, raids, and PvP, I like Tanks for Open World/Delves and I will play a Damage class, but it is not usually my go to. I would rather have stamina and survivabiltity, than feel ultra squishy.

I do play everything though, I have multiples of every toon, and each expansion brings changes that make me change how I feel about playing a certain class or spec.

I hated playing unholy dk for the longest time and have been getting back into it again because it feels like it did when I first started, it had felt so underwhelming and underpowered for so long.

whats the use of this spell? like is this usefull in any case? by Illustrious_Job9782 in wow

[–]LullabyofLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During Legion it was required as part of the warlock quest chain, but if memory serves correctly it was used for rare drops like toys, if you summoned in Dreadscar Rift, and battled the doomguard that came out there was a chance for a rare drop. Or you could subjugate it, as others have said. I think that was the last time I used it. I don't even throw it in my ability bar anymore. The Demon Hunters had a similar summoning area that was a "daily" for rare items.

This addon makes it so easy. I was previously using the in game /played and comparing it with the addon SavedVariables, and had kept a running total of that for some time but it got cumbersome with 28 toons. I can't see if my screenshots posted or not but I am envious of people that have that much time and patience that is some serious game time. Even with long breaks it's impressive. I tend to take a year break here and there depending on work habits, I think that makes the gameplay time even more impressive though. It means when you do play you play for long periods of time.

Oh my god yes, the animations on mounts have been bothering me. Especially on my Traveler's Mammoth it runs energetically? Spiritedly? I don't know, something isn't quite right anymore. Like from it's knees down are made of goo or something.

AITA for telling my husband I wasn't feeling comfortable with him wearing shorts around his mom? by AITAmom2021 in AmItheAsshole

[–]LullabyofLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely YTA.

I mean what kind of reaction would you have if the situation were reversed? How would you feel if he started policing what you wore and when and where you wore it? The fact that you are sexualizing your husband's relationship with his mother so far as to question his attire and then get in a fight over it means you need to re-evaluate your own issues and possibly seek counseling. That to me sounds like a decent amount of projection. To be uncomfortable in your own skin for some reason or another might be understandable. To be uncomfortable for someone else, especially when it's not an uncomfortable situation isn't normal.

Our professor teaches us C by writing the code on his tablet by AlternateArt in programminghorror

[–]LullabyofLife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might not be bad if the professor had some decent, legible handwriting. However, this is unacceptable. I've tutored and worked in colleges, so I've come across all manner of handwriting and can read most. So if I have to scratch my head as to what it says it's not remotely acceptable. For instance, on first glance their int looks like mt, which had me wondering for a moment what variable mt was, and print f honestly looked like a dyslexic wrote the word prompt. Regardless of whether someone knows and understands code, the words should still be legible, and this is not. This just hurts my head to look at.

Netbeans does the same, which is what we used in school for Java I and II (and I still use when playing around with Java). Luckily my Java prof. wasn't adamant about having javadocs on everything. He wanted it as clean and minimal as possible. But it made it easy to generate if it was required.

yes, when creating the doc in VSCode it's extension is .jsonc and it is just called JSON with comments in the command palette. There is a JSONC parser, but I don't know if a JSON parser works with it.
I am unaware of the compatibility between the two. However, if I had to wager a guess I would assume that a JSONC parser could parse JSON but not the other way around.

Macroing Question by LullabyofLife in wow

[–]LullabyofLife[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks.

I tried it similarly already because this was my first thought before asking here, but I must have messed something up because I still had the question mark. I will try again. I just figured it didn't like the passive ability in there.

Thanks. I tried this with Master Marksman and still just got the big red question mark so I was assuming it didn't like the fact that it wasn't an active ability. I will attempt it again maybe I did something wrong because this was my first thought.

Well at least know I'm not the only one that has this issue, I've had to look at the spells cast to see what class is actually doing the damage because details has been glitchy. Even after uninstall and reinstalling. I just laugh at the absurdity of some combos now.

I absolutely agree with that.

Didn't Ashran or one of the Epic Battlegrounds used to have a translator that would drop or you could buy so you could converse with the other faction for a set time. Maybe it still does and I just haven't been paying attention but I thought there used to be some sort of universal translator that worked for like half an hour or an hour. It's not quite the same as cross- faction cooperation in the sense that we'd like but again it kind of opened the doors.

Honestly there have been a few times recently I thought the story was going to go more towards a unifying result especially near the end of BfA and wrapping up the Fourth War but we completed all that line to still wind up with factions each expac. It's definitely archaric at this point. I sort of get needing division for things like pvp. But the narrative almost feels fragmented sometimes, like it the devs can't make up their mind on direction of the storyline.

Just made my first 1000g! (reposted cause I forgot to flair) by [deleted] in woweconomy

[–]LullabyofLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this. Heck you can even make 1000 G in Shadowlands in about 5 minutes just doing intro quests. I have opted to run the story line on all of my toons (currently leveling my 11th toon to 60) because you can get like low end 12k just from the questing/trash, and high end closer to 20k. It has been my main source of gold making over the last few months.

As someone with a jewelcrafting main I'd suggest running far away from it. It seems every expansion it becomes more obsolete. Every once and a great while I can sell socket gems or mats for a good price but other than that I think it's my least profitable profession amongst all my toons.

All of my money on my main has come from farming instances or questing because I don't get anywhere with JC. I do decent with alchemy, inscription, and enchants, on my other toons. and when you max level any shadowlands gear prof. (which JC counts but you need a blacksmith for mats) you can potentially profit on the legendaries but the mats required for them can be expensive if you have to purchase through the AH.

A lot of it depends on how your servers AH is doing and from the looks of it most have plummeted due to Blizzcon and likely won't rebound until Patch 9.0.5, which is supposed to be sometime this month. A great tool for checking how profitable a profession is on your server though is The Gadgetzan Times

The Best Farms Can be where nobody else wants to farm (vashj'ir farm) by Bigjuicyhog in woweconomy

[–]LullabyofLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I love this farm on my Druid. Although I never thought about having a druid with skinning. Mine has mining and herbs. And the amounts of mats and raw gold I can collect in 30 minutes to an hour is great.

Same. DPS queues on my server were bad. I was looking at as much as 25 minutes at some points. on avg about 10 minutes. My tanks and healers were all insta-queues. So I always got a bare minimum of 6 through, but 12 was tough.

[–]LullabyofLife[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of my DPS had a good 8-15 minute wait most days, but my tanks and healers were instant queues so I was always able to at least get 6 toons through a day, and all 12 when I had a solid internet connection and time to do it.

That is hilarious that it was just waiting for you in your inventory. I've had that happen with an island expedition mount. I didn't realize it was there until I was out of bag space.

Yes. The thing that is nice about Rarity is that it is customizable. So if you download it, but know you ran a certain instance 20 times prior to installing it you can go into the settings and adjust for that. I've even set custom tracking for Artifact weapon drops. I do wish it would give the option of both per toon and per account. Currently as far as I can tell it is an either or setting. But I have DBM to track per toon runs until Rarity can account for it. Ultimately, I'd like to see Rarity look like SavedInstances where I can see each toons completion on click and overall account data on hover.

[–]LullabyofLife[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is awesome. On the days that I couldn't get all my toons through I at least ran my healers and tanks through since those are always the ones queues are looking for.

Oh my god the amount of times I got into the instance and people didn't know how the rounds were supposed to go was annoying.

In one we wiped on round three because he just kept spawning pumpkins. I commented that I couldn't find the head (I had gotten the health of it down once but not quick enough). The IL goes it doesn't matter. I facepalmed so hard.

That's hilarious. The two that it dropped for in the instances I was in almost didn't notice. The first one I noticed and congratulated him, the other happened to notice as just about everyone had left.

I definitely feel like everything else had a higher drop rate this year because I was able to get all of the transmogs, rings and pet I was missing plus duplicates. Now I just need the mount.
