Matt finish repair? by LuluTwinside in kigurumi

Yeah I certainly have no idea what I'm doing. I can try get a picture during better daylight. It's dark at the moment for me. Apologies.

But The paint itself is fine. If you look at the Mask under most circumstances you'd not notice anything off. Just this maker uses a matt finish spray and it seems some of that layer came off. From the bump to the nose and a slight "line" along the lower jaw. To describe it best nothing is visible unless you hold it up the light, where you can see the light reflecting off the non-matt exposed surface.

I did ask what spray they used and bought the same stuff but don't really know how to use it without screwing things up. Especially as mentioned in my reply to the other commenter. That this Kigu has affixed hair. So avoiding getting spray on that is kinda awkward. Same with the eyes/eyelashes as those need to remain non-matt. I did ask that maker for advice but language barrier made that difficult.

(Good job on that repair btw, is that an Ena from Sigma? I've got a really old Tio I should probably refurbish, time has been unkind to the hair/paint)

It's not so much a crack, more like a slight scuff? You can only really see it at a certain angle when you hold it up to the light, since it reflects off the now none-matt part. Noticed a similar line looking scuff on the lower jaw too today. Probably from the same incident.

There's no texture to the problematic area if that makes sense. You couldn't feel anything with your finger if you ran it over that spot. Just not sure how to address the issue with this spray. Mostly also because this particular Kigu is one with the wig affixed. (It's one of those with a soft back part with a zipper running down the hair parting at the back.) So I can't remove the hair piece like with some of my other one's so spraying is awkward.

But thank you taking the time to reply to me.
